It is located approx. 5 km from the North Sea beach. The pretty seaside resort of Callantsoog is well worth a visit, as are the seaside resorts of Sint Maartenszee and Petten.
The town of Schagen is 5 kilometres away. Here you will find many shops and restaurants. Enjoy a drink on the market square with a view of the large church. During the summer, events are organised here every Thursday and you can watch a parade with music, traditional costumes and old floats. The city of Alkmaar is 20 km from the holiday home. The city centre has some beautiful monuments, such as the city scales, the water tower and the town hall. During your holiday you should definitely visit the Alkmaar cheese market, which is held every Friday from April to September.
