"I rented this cabin to watch the Perseid meteor shower. It is in a perfect dark sky location with no light interference. The nighttime sky viewing was incredible! The cabin is rustic, but comfortable, with a nice view of the mountains from the front porch, and a fire pit with Adirondack chairs in the back yard. The WIFI signal was strong and very useful since the cell signal in the area was not. It was nice to be able to bring my dogs along on the trip. The owner was very communicative and shared turn by turn directions from the closest town."

"Thorn Creek Cottage was perfect for our girls’ weekend. It’s bigger and nicer than it appears in the listing, and very clean! The furniture and appliances were newer, not thrift store finds. The kitchen was well-stocked with nice dishes, pans, utensils, spices, etc. The only thing we had to buy was aluminum foil. The primary bathroom was huge and stocked with extra towels and toiletries in case we forgot anything, which we did. The a/c was a bit loud, but tolerable once we got used to it. The bedrooms were just the right size, and the loft area was spacious and well-lit, although the spiral staircase to the loft was a tad scary. An added bonus was plenty of accessible electrical outlets! The exterior was great! The grass was freshly mowed, there were plenty of chairs for porch-sitting and deer-watching. The gazebo by the creek was amazing. We spent most of Saturday playing games there and sitting in the water. The host was very helpful with suggestions and quick to respond to questions. I would love to come back here someday!"

"This place has everything you need for a mountain getaway and more! The slide with pool was so fun, hot tub was great at the end of the day, and nearby rivers/hiking. Super cute home. It was amazing having coffee by the calm rambling creek. Only thing I'd say is be SUPER careful at night - there are various levels to the floor between rooms and bathrooms, and I took a hard tumble in the dark. Totally my fault. And we are like 99% sure the pool heat was off. The water pressure was having problems, so we let the host know. I think it was storm related.10/10 recommend. Would come back."
