Tina on reception was friendly and welcoming, gave me plenty of useful local information, recommended a place to eat, where to park in Ljubljana. Andrej provided excellent service at the bar and always had a smile. Lovely buffet breakfast, overall a great stay.

My stay at Ambient Hotel was far below expectations. The first room I was given had a faulty door lock, so they moved me to another one. Unfortunately, the new room had shower problems — they assured me it would be fixed the next morning, but when I returned later that day, nothing had been done. They then offered me another room, but the shower booth design was poor — no proper curtain or glass enclosure, so water splashed everywhere, leaving the whole bathroom wet. Housekeeping was also disappointing. They didn’t refill the soap properly, and basic personal hygiene items like toothbrushes or cotton buds weren’t provided. There was no water kettle either, which made it impossible to have a simple cup of coffee in the room. Breakfast was very limited and overcrowded, and overall service quality did not match the high price. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless they make serious improvements in maintenance, cleanliness, and guest comfort.

Nice quiet place

Lovely place to stay if you travel by car. Very quiet and friendly town close to Ljubljana. Walking distance from a few bars. There is Thai Spa, but it doesn't work on Sundays and Saturday evenings. The reception service is amazing. I have accidentally arrived at the same time with a group of 30 people who came for some event. The receptionist immediately gave me my key and after 15 minutes when I was going out she has already checked in all the group of 30. Bravo!

Generally good - try to fulfill order conditions.

Staff is friendly, hotel in a good condition, well maintained. We booked 2 double rooms (with single large bed), and got 2 twin rooms. The receptionist said it is up to availability (not true, we ordered clearly double bed and paid few $$ extra for it). After negotiations, one of the rooms was changed, second we agreed to accept as twin, since it was only 1 person in it.

Unterdurchschnittlich, schlechtes Frühstück

Frau beim check-in war sehr freundlich, dafür die Dame abends an der „Bar“ schlecht gelaunt, man hatte das Gefühl sie hat nur widerwillig bedient. Wein war unter dem Eichstrich eingeschenkt und Bier überteuert. Zimmer waren extrem klein und eines der beiden Bäder hatte eklige Flecken am Boden. Dusche ging dafür sehr gut. Während unseres Aufenthalts waren drei Reisegruppen in Bussen anwesend - daher natürlich eher überfüllt. Frühstück war sehr bescheiden. Rühreier sehr sehr hart, aber immerhin gab es welche. Der Rest sah eher unappetitlich aus - der Kaffee - und da bin ich nicht wählerisch - war eher ungenießbar. Das beste war der Obstsalat aus der Dose. Wir hatten zwei Doppelzimmer gebucht, waren Gott sei Dank nur für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise - würde es selbst dafür nicht mehr wählen

Un haut potentiel à développer encore !

Arrivés pour une escale d'une nuit, nous avons été séduits par l'hôtel, son parking vaste, son accueil, large et décoré avec soin. Toutefois, l'hôtesse d'accueil manquait de chaleur et ses propos étaient très mesurés voire comptés... Nous espérions mieux ! Nos chambres étaient propres et la literie confortable mais la penderie difficile d'accès (derrière le bureau) et la télévision juste posée sur le petit bureau, ce qui en limitait l'usage... Le petit déjeuner, assez diversifié, offrait aussi bien des fruits, des boissons (chaudes et froides) que du pain, des viennoiseries et des œufs, jambon et saucisse... et même des crudités ! Petite surprise de fin de séjour : un canal, situé à l'arrière de l'hôtel, offre la possibilité de prendre le petit déjeuner bercé par le bruit de l'eau... Un moment presque bucolique, très agréable à vivre...(Découvert malheureusement trop tard et pas indiqué) Cet hôtel offre des possibilités de soins et massages. Ce qui n'est pas à négliger ! Situation de l'hôtel un peu excentrée. Prévoir un moyen de locomotion.

Gut jedoch Raum für Besserung

Alles war gut, nur das Abendessen war nicht das Beste, es war Kantinenartig und ein bisschen zu teuer (17€). Was mich auch genervt hat, dass ich um 7Uhr morgens von der Rezeption angerufen worde um mein Auto auf einen anderen Platz zu stellen, weil sie Betonn bekommen haben. Es wäre gut dies im Vorraus zu sagen oder die Parkplätze zu markieren. Nicht der beste Wecker :/
