PERFECTION IS HERE What a pleasant and beautiful location and place From the room to the food everything is so grande, yet at an affordable amount for all I am so impressed, even though I live up north near Leeds and am getting married early next year, I can truly say I when found my location for my queen Cannot appraise enough Staff are what make it and sorry have not mentioned yourselves but from the reception to the bar to the chef all great and excellent service and professionalism ❤️💯🫡

Came across this little gem unexpectedly. Don’t be put off by the exterior, lovely girls at reception.. big clean rooms. Dinner/ breakfast in the restaurant was lovely. Will return!

It is decent place to spend a night or two. We booked this place for two nights. Our room is decent size and it was very cleaned. Breakfast was not that great, had very limited options and portions were average. However,their service was excellent.

The outside car parking and gardens are an absolute disgrace They make the hotel appear derelict and unkept Inside all looks good, clean and tidy with welcoming staff First night half the food choses on the menu were not available ( no fish on a Friday ) When food came it was OK

Winter stay in Dorset

On traditionally bleak winters day in south west Dorset this hotel was warm and welcoming, spacious and well presented rooms. Breakfast was well cooked and served promptly. A strong 9/10 because although you should never judge a book by the cover, this hotel lets it self down with it's exterior presentation

Great base for visiting Dorset

We stayed for girlie catch up and spa. The Spa treatments and facilities were amazing and staff lovely. The hotel is an ideal base for visiting Dorset but you do need a car. The hotel facilities are spotless and restaurant and food of a great quality. What sets this apart from other hotels is the staff. From front desk, to bar staff, restaurant staff and housekeeping this is customer service at it’s best. Will do anything to help if you ask, will advise on services and places to see and all with a smile. So friendly and interactive it made you feel so welcome. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic stay, unbelievably clean and well maintained. Rooms were big, bright and furnishings seemed quite new. Food in the restaurant was lovely and plentiful. The best thing is the staff, nothing is too much trouble from reception to the bar to the restaurants to the housekeeping. All staff were lovely but Helen and Richard were particularly amazing. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
