"This is a wonderful historic hotel. Don't expect Hilton crispness, doors are older, lock and key, tempo rental hot water, but simply old school and charming. Lines and bedding were crisp and clean. Very old town but what a building, almost two hundred years old."

We came to spread my brother’s ashes, and the house was right around the corner from where his shop used to be. It was like it was meant to be. This was the perfect place for us to stay. "The ambiance of the property and hotel is lovely. We were a bit put off at arriving an 1 1/2 early and being told without even asking what our names were or what room that it was not ready. We would have preferred them saying they don’t allow early access or charges us a pro rated amount for the room. The restaurant is very good and our waiter was wonderful. Outside of the initial interaction with the front desk, the time was wonderful "
