"The Staff were extremely kind, The little shop was quaint. The outside surrounding was eh. The room itself was a no thrills room and was tiny. It had new vinyl floors which was nice. But the bathroom was not updated at all. The bed was comfy. And the heat worked great, it got cold the night i stayed."

There are stains on the carpet, we found someone else’s sock under the bed, the ceiling tiles in the bathroom were broken and stained, the tub was lined with mold, and the sink looked like it was falling off the wall. As we were checking in, another guest was complaining about it raining in her room (it was raining outside). You also cannot flush the toilet before showering. I will never stay here again."

"THE PLACE WAS NOT CLEANED BEFORE I ARRIVEDVRBO allows only 1500 characters for this review and I can not list all the issues I had in so few characters. So, in summary, the place had not been cleaned before I got there. Dirty bathroom, unwashed sheets on the smaller bed, etc. Spiderwebs in the corners, uncleaned floors. I contacted the host about how dirty the place was, who sent her daughter. The daughter was the one who was supposed to have cleaned the place before I got there. She admitted to me that she hadn't. To be fair, she did offer to clean it then, but at that point, it was too little too late. It was in need of a deep cleaning, which should have been done before I ever got there. While I didn't expect this place to be fancy in any way, I did expect it to be cleaned. That's really the main thing. It was bad enough that I opted to leave and find a better place to stay. The host ignored my request for a refund, given the place had not been cleaned prior to my arrival.I wish I had read the reviews before I booked. Some people love this place and I guess if it was clean, it would have been fine. But you'll see other reviews like mine where the place just wasn't clean.In addition, quite a few pictures on this listing have nothing to do with this place. This is not an apartment at some nice resort with a gigantic pool and waterslides, gym, community room, etc. This is an apartment above someone's garage with an above ground pool in the backyard."

"House had everything we needed for our trip over the New Year’s Eve holiday. Host was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Has a great sledding hill and basement the kids loved! Would definitely recommend. "
