Nice place, super crew , good size of rooms, fantastic easy to get metro or bus, shoppings and stores all over near the hotel. Elevator is a little old, music from Night Club until later in the night.

Worst hotel for a Family

The hotel rests above many night clubs (not just one). All night long, until 3 AM, the bass of the nightclub keeps you awake. My family booked two rooms, and they originally gave us different floors, when we requested for same floor rooms, they gave us a handicap room that hasnt been touched in months. There were cockroaches under the mattress, as well as stains everywhere. The bathroom leaked water from the toilet as well. The bathroom we had did not have any lock. The AC in one of the rooms did not work. When we requested room service to give us an extra bed, they charged us the amount of a whole person staying, but failed to give us blankets. They just threw a mattress on the floor. The managers of the hotel were very rude to us, and gave these dirty rooms to us that were far apart from eachother. The lobby reeks of cigarettes and it is impossible to go to sleep because the music and bass of the nightclubs and bars on the 1st and 2nd floors keep us up. Finally we complained to the owner, and he did us justice by reprimanding the manager, and giving us a room we actually paid for, with an extra bed, not just a mattress on the floor. The location is also very run down, and has many escorts in the area. Also, the WIFI is horrendously slow and most often, is unable to load webpages. I should have read more reviews before booking this for my family. I highly do not recommend families to stay here.

Good hotel, but there's a huge... "BUT"

Why do people book a hotel room? Well, I guess there is an answer only: because they want to sleep! Well, if you go to Claridge Hotel, forget about sleeping! There are a couple of night-clubs and discos downstairs and the rooms are just upstairs: can you imagine the endless bang-bang coming from the dance-floors until 02:00 AM? While you toss and turn in your bed, you keep asking yourself why on earth they build a hotel and a disco in the same building... Would you associate a kindergarden and a fire-works in the same building? No, of course: there are things that can't simply match together. So Claridge Hotel gives you everything except the chance to sleep properly. And it's a shame because the hotel location is perfect: in the very heart of Deira with everything one may need within reach. Actually I should even blame myself because I had been warned by several other reviews stating the presence of the disco clubs. But then I said to myself: "Well, it can't be that bad..." Now I now: yes, it CAN BE that bad. And even worse.

سيء جداً؛ الثلاجة لا تعمل + عند دخول الغرفة أحد المصبيح لا تعمل وتم تغيرهها بعد ساعة + المواقف ب 20 درهم (في الحجز موضح أنه مجاناً) + تم إلغاء الأيام المتبقية على رغبتي وعدم الرضاء عن الفندق.

nice hotel next to al Ghurair shopping mall

I was pleased with the overall service but the staffs need to drop negative attitudes special the ones at the reception. The hotel is opposite of AL ghuirar mall and 3 minutes wall to Salaha din metro station, and 10 minutes walk to baniyas square.

A Good Value for the Money!

This being our first time visiting the Middle East, we weren't sure what to expect from a 3-star hotel, and so booked the Claridge Hotel with a little anxiety. We are pleased to report that Reception and the hotel staff members were always very helpful and attentive and spoke English well. The breakfast buffet was just a tad limited in variety but very tasty! Hot water was plentiful in the shower, but cold water seemed to be in short supply; however, we were pleased to find fresh towels every day, too! The Claridge Hotel was conveniently located by a major landmark and several convenience stores for purchasing miscellaneous bottled water and cold sodas, or whatever incidental needs we had. It was only a few hundred yards from Dubai's beautiful Metro train station (which was very easy to use--and quite a bargain). We would stay here again in the future.
