"Breakfast was ok. Weird that you don’t serve a Bloody Mary before 3pm… it is a brunch accompaniment. Your plumbing is a little off as the shower temperature would not stay consistent though I guess it is older infrastructure. Other than that, it was a good stay and I’ll be back. Great location!"

"Fantastic hotel, we had a deluxe double room and were surprised how big it was. The room had a balcony and a double aspect. The shower was really good, rain water and hand held with lots of power. Coffee machine in the room with pods and bottled water topped up every day. Breakfast was great, €15 if you book in advance, even the day before, €17.50 on the day. Nice bar. A little out of town and it wasn’t close to tram or bus stops so we found we had to use taxis a lot. Overall though, given the quality of the hotel we’d definitely use again."

"My family and I had the best Easter break at Fitzpatrick's Castle Hotel. Firstly, the family rooms were an excellent size with two large double beds and plenty of space around them for a family of four (two adults, two children). The rooms were beautifully decorated with a coach and a modern bathroom with a large shower.  My family and I ate at the Mapas restaurant twice during our long weekend stay and we could not fault the food - it was absolutely perfect! We had breakfast here both mornings and there was a great selection with friendly staff to assist. The fact that the restaurant and the bar area are adjoined works really well from an entertainment perspective. The live music on the first night of our stay was great and the singers really interacted with the kids which made it a really special.  On Easter Sunday they had an Easter egg hunt organised for the children which was absolutely fantastic, they also had a special visit from the Easter bunny who delivered Easter eggs to all of the children involved.  This is a great hotel for families - the pool was amazing for the kids as well as Killiney park which is right next door. The best thing about our stay was Sue. We had two small children and she was so attentive with them, so attentive that they didn't want to leave her!! We are very grateful for her hospitality and she definitely made the Easter break a really special one for our 4-year-old twins!! This was our first time staying at Fitzpatrick's Castle Hotel and it'"
