Lilac Loft room was clean and warm. Breakfast was really nice and the grounds were lovely. We will definitely come back here.
We loved our stay here and look forward to returning for another night at the end of our trip.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful, set in a wonderful park with huge trees, and our courtyard room at the end of the driveway was very convenient. It really feels like a manor house.
Beautiful and quiet! The staff was exceptionally nice, especially Jamie with his Guiness pour expertise! And Gigi the pony in the meadow outside my window. It was an unexpectedly perfect way to experience Ireland.
Quaint, quiet and beautiful views of the countryside of Ireland! The staff were so kind and considerate of any requests or needs! We really enjoyed our stay as it was a nice spot of reclusion after going off to Dublin to explore which was much busier! Definitely book your stay here if you enjoy staying in a Manor that takes you back in time!
I would have loved a fridge and microwave in my room
Or access to one
The manor is stunning. All the animals were fun. I was disappointed that the recent storm left the garden closed during our stay. I was looking forward to seeing the gardens
Very busy and noisy with four separate parties. The staff were overworked but welcoming and friendly, however the bar area where we ate had limited seating space and was noisy with groups of people and children. We booked 2 rooms (one double and one twin) but one of the beds in the twin wasn't clean and looked like it had been slept in already leading to an uncomfortable night for my daughter who had to share the other bed (admittedly larger) with her aunt who is disabled. We reported this in the morning to the manager and they were to follow up on this. Unfortunately not good value for the money we paid.
The hotel is about half a mile outside the village up a private driveway. My room was in the courtyard about 75 yards from the main Manor House. The room was excellent and the breakfast which was served in the main house was very good if a little expensive.
Would certainly stay there again.
My most recent stay was for three weeks, so I got to know some of the staff pretty well, and I can’t say enough about how absolutely AMAZING everyone was! I absolutely LOVED my stay……such an incredibly beautiful and serene setting, and also very conveniently located to everything! But honestly, it was the staff that completely made my visit so special!
The manor rests on a beautiful property with a walkway around the garden full of unique plants. The rooms are well equipped to suit your needs for a comfortable stay and the dining area has a delicious menu and full bar. I highly recommend staying a few nights to enjoy all that the area has to offer, and don’t forget to say hi to GG!
