Room was far too warm (30 degrees Celsius) on an average summer day 25 degrees Celsius). No air condition. Was sweating and felt very uncomfy. A clear dealbreaker. The area is not safe (drugs etc.) Would not recommend, though the staff was nice and the breakfast quite good.

There was a smell of mould in the corridor on the ground floor around the reception area. However, the rooms we freshly redecorated and new furniture were installed. The bed was comfortable and soft.

We stayed here because it was on the road to further destinations. Because of the traffic we were a little late at the check in (22:30), but when I called on our way to the hotel to mention that, it wasn't a problem. In the morning we left. Our short stay was nice. The only 'not very good' thing was our matress. It was a little old so our backs went down in de matress.

Room had a stinging wasp nest outside which caused dozens of flying insects to enter the room in the early morning. The light near bed was full of dead wasps. They were large snd aggressive. It was really terrifying. We kept windows after first two nights but rooms was very stuffy snd uncomfortable. After first night I notified the hotel front desk and they later told me they had no sign of any insects. We complained, showed photos and they did not show any concern. I was told that the city government did not allow the hotel to exterminate the wasp nest . We were stuck for six nights. No other hotels available, no room change snd no card from hotel manager. We paid in advance. We finally just kept the windows closed tight but with no ventilation it was terribly uncomfortable but better than having dozens of stinging wasps frenzied in the room. Please save future guests this nightmare.

Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden. Dass man in einem Zimmer für vier Personen allerdings die Badezimmer-Tür weit offen lassen muss (weil man sie mit normaler Muskelkraft nicht zugeschoben bekommt, ist inakzeptabel.

Das Hotel ist etwas "in die Jahre gekommen", aber das Verhältnis von Preis und Leistung war in Ordnung. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Mein Zimmer war hell, sauber und ruhig. Bad mit Tageslichtfenster.

Lage ist perfekt, genau zwischen Bahnhof und Fußgängerzone, aber eben außerhalb dieser ; sehr freundliches Personal, sehr gutes Frühstück und schöne Zimmer mit guten Matratzen ; Zimmer ist zwar schon mit einigen Macken / Kratzern gewesen, aber das ist auch normaler Gebrauch und stört gar nicht !
