"My daughter and I fully enjoyed our stay. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. It was a very comfortable place to spend the week. Five minutes by bike to the beach. A great backyard for the dogs. Several cute restaurants and bars to hang out in."

"Your stay will depend on who is sharing the unit with you. This unit was deemed "peaceful" and our stay was NOT peaceful. There was a construction crew staying in the unit next to us. For 5 days they woke up between 4:30AM and 5:00AM. I tried talking to them because they were loudly talking and playing music every morning. When I spoke to them they claimed to not understand what I was saying. There was also a house being worked on two doors down and they started sawing and nailing at 8:00AM each day.At night there were two groups of young kids and they stayed up from 10PM to midnight each night playing cornhole/bags provided by Sigsbee Homes. The social area is located right under your bedrooms. The loud bang from corn hole/bags sounds like a gun going off. Again, I tried to talk to the groups because we have young kids trying to sleep, but that didn't stop them keeping us up each night. I thought we were staying in a peaceful place per Sigsbee's listings and reviews, but this was far from it.When I contacted Shane/Karin about the early morning wakeup I received no reply. 3 days later I sent another message and I got a halfhearted reply. I then contacted them that night about the nightly noise and received no response. The only responses I got, were automative responses of "please give us 5 stars!" Owners Shane/Karin are also not close by and they manage from afar. They also don't know basic questions about their units when you ask. Good luck!"

"Property was clean and as-advertised. We loved the place. Air conditioner worked great although the master bedroom definitely didn't get as much air flow as the rest of the house. Close to town location in gated community - large beaches, plenty of walking paths, used the grill (grill cover just about on its last legs), but everything worked well and zero complaints from us. A terrific place to stay if wanting to experience Dauphin Island with family. Pet-friendly was a big plus. "

"The location (more forested residential east side) was ideal for us, and we were very comfortable in the house. The communications and check-in process were flawless. The house has a few quirks, like no power outlets in the bathrooms, but once you settle in everything works great. We'd stay here again."

"This condo was perfect for our island getaway. We had access to the beach via a boardwalk from the property. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking necessities for the week. Questions were very quickly answered by Rhonda and she checked in on us a couple of times throughout our stay. We really liked being off the beaten path with zero traffic noise and definitely will check this condo out on our next visit to the island! "

"This place was really nice for the price. There was plenty of room and sleeping areas. There is a sidewalk that takes you directly to the pool and the beach which was our favorite part. We didnt even need shoes to walk to the beach and back! The pool was lovely and the beach was beautiful. This condo is close to everything you need on the island. The ferry and fort are near and the little shops and seafood market is right down the road. The TVs had working cable, the bathrooms and showers work fine and the beds are comfy. Thanks for an awesome get away! "

"Clean. Very comfortable bed. Check in was easy. Nice location. The shower is really small and the water temperature in the shower was tricky to adjust. The only draw back for the dogs was that the fence around the yard is in disrepair so no possibility to run around off leash. Luckily there is a lovely dog park just a few minutes walk. Overall we really liked our stay!"
