"Clean room and good coffee. However, the kitchen is very crowded during our stay. During dinner or breakfast time, there are more than 10 people in the kitchen to cook and eat and it is hard to find a seat."

"Had superior room. Fair value for price which was like most of Iceland , expensive. One negative was the breakfast. Think they are understaff. Two people working hard but couldn't keep up. Many tables waiting to be cleaned. Had to wait for a new batch of scrambled eggs. They were cool even though they just came from the kitchen. Likewise the oatmeal, brand new batch was cool. Hotel setting is beautiful. Staff friendly."

"Clean and comfortable hotel in a quiet and beautiful area. Be aware that the address is Egilsstadir, but the property is a good 20-30 minutes outside the town. We did not opt to pay extra for the provided breakfast but that is available as well."

"This is such a wonderful spot to stay! Especially if you are traveling between Hofn and Husavik. Its a bit out of the way but well worth the visit. The rooms are newly renovated and the hotel provides free towels, breakfast, and has coffee and/or tea available at all hours. The staff is extremely sweet and even gave us a room tour upon arrival. Highly recommend."
