"We had a nice two-night (Friday through Sunday) stay. Great location. Good value. Nice and clean, but no maid service that we noticed. Breakfast was fine. There were a few minor issues that caused me to deduct one star. The lock on the room door was not adequate to provide a secure feeling. The inn is next to a music venue that had live performances both nights we were there. Although the upper parking lot is supposed to be reserved for Light Horse residents, and there are enough parking spaces to accommodate them, there were no spaces to be found either night when we returned after 8:00 pm. We could not get past the first screen on the television that asked us to input our departure date. I called the number provided on our check-in sheet (which was taped to the entrance of the inn) and left a voicemail, but it was not returned (the chef was the only employee we ever saw). I think slow WiFi may have been the problem with not getting television service. But, overall, I would recommend the Light Horse Inn and would stay there again if in the Harper's Ferry area."

"Building is a little out of date and needs some updating. Room could use a deep clean and our room smelled moist. The was an amazing restaurant on site (but I think the restaurant manager said that they were moving soon). The food was exceptional."
