The camping site was clean and well organized and ready when I got there. The site itself is beautiful and centrally located for a bunch of different skiing and recreational activities (I was there for the marathon). I do think there’s some sort of issue with the messaging on Expedia where messages are either not being checked or somehow not being received but other than that it was a positive experience.

The property primarily seems to be a campground but it has a lodge with rooms and we rented one for the night to rest at after going to a concert. We had no trouble checking in and the staff was friendly. The room was on the small side with just a queen size bed and a couple bedside tables but we just needed a place to sleep for the night so it should have done the job just fine. Here is were things went wrong for us. We got back to the lodge at just before midnight. We had been given a code to unlock the door to the lodge and a separate code for our room. We entered the code for the lodge's front door and it accepted the code as being correct, but the door would not open. It had been deadbolted from the inside and the code only unlocked the door handle...not the deadbolt. We checked for other doors around the building but none were an option for getting in. The real kicker was that the office was closed and there was no after hours number to call. Just a voicemail system that their signs said they would check the messages on the next day. We had nowhere else to go and our luggage was trapped in our room so we ended up having to sleep in our car in front of the lodge we had paid to sleep in! Worst of all was that the concert and overnight stay had all been party of a birthday gift I had gotten for my wife. This totally soured the whole experience for both of us which is a real drag since we had really enjoyed the concert.

This is a horrible place. The description is completely wrong! It says there is air conditioning and heating. NONE is true. There is a small battery operated fan. There is no power in this room, no water. Beds are super uncomfortable making noises in each move. Shared bathroom is a JOKE! There is one bathroom, for about 500 people. It is nasty and dirty. Expedia MUST remove this property or completely rewrite the description. Very misleading. This is basically a tent in a large campground Sharing with hundreds of other tents.

This is my opinion. I wouldn't share but I think a warning is warranted. The Dome is to hot to occupy at all until at least 5pm. So what you get for your $150 is a bench surrounded by a ton of camp sites right next, trash on the ground, space not swept out and a long walk to the toilet. To top it off, the door, that faces the other tents, is clear so, no privacy. Just be prepared and all will be well.

I stayed at Silver Ridge Ranch for 2 nights and unfortunately had a very negative experience with the management. The manager, Jennifer, behaved in a way that I found inappropriate and concerning. Although I had already paid in advance through a third-party site (Expedia), she repeatedly called me and insisted that I needed to pay her directly. I do not understand why this happened, but it was stressful and unprofessional. It felt like she was collecting unnecessary personal information and harassing me about payments that had already been completed. This behavior made me feel extremely uncomfortable, and I want to warn future guests to be cautious. The property itself may be fine, but the management’s conduct was not adequate and left me with a very bad impression.
