The Gables was perfect for a trip to Edinburgh or Livingston area. Host was very helpful re check in times etc and very friendly. Rooms had everything we needed and breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Would definitely come back!

The Gables is very comfortable and in a great location in Bathgate. Very clean room with Wi-Fi. The Gables is very close to the train station and trains run to Edinburgh frequently. Included is a wonderful breakfast and many thanks for your hospitality.

Lovely place to stay! Mary and Donald are excellent hosts and cook a superb breakfast. The house is clean, quite beautiful, and historic. It's about a 10 minute walk from plenty of shops and restaurants. Would happily stay at the Gables again.
