"BRING EAR PLUGS! The hotel has a restaurant that turns into a night club and blares music and strobes until 1am. If you stay here, contact the hotel ahead of time and ask for rooms 201-209 on the second floor in the back. Avoid anything that has a view of the harbor, a balcony, or anything on the 1st Floor (directly above the Ground Floor). There was also a sewer smell at the top of the second floor stairs. That said, the staff is friendly and the location is perfect! We stopped by our room multiple times during the day to use the toilet, shower, get something from the room, etc. For a couple deep sleeps with earplugs, we would probably rebook."

"I have traveled regularly for nearly three decades, and this is the first time I have ever written a hotel review. This particular stay, however, was truly exceptional. My experience at this hotel made my trip to Cassis incredibly special. It was pure magic from beginning to end and gave me a wonderful taste of what this breathtaking part of France has to offer. Every inch of the hotel was beautiful, thoughtful, and absolutely flawless. To top it off, the staff was among the most hospitable I have ever encountered. From the moment I walked into the lobby, I was treated as though I had been a longtime VIP guest. Everyone was kind, gracious, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, especially Camille and Jonathan. My apologies for not remembering everyone’s names, but I must say this was truly the finest hotel experience I have ever had. The entire staff was incredibly generous and made every effort to accommodate every possible request during my stay. I also noticed that they provided the same exceptional level of service to every guest, from the youngest to the not so young. Camille and Jonathan, in particular, went above and beyond to make sure I had the very best experience. I rarely return to the same destination, but after this unforgettable stay, I cannot wait to come back. RReyes-Chicago"

"One of my best hotel experiences EVER. Cassis is adorable and this hotel is tucked in a quieter corner that made it just perfect for my stay. I was in Room 5 with a lovely lil balcony and view of the ocean. Across the street from a smaller beach, lovely breakfast. Staff was so friendly. It was just perfect. I hope to come back someday!"

"Hotel Mahogany in Cassis was truly the highlight of my trip after traveling through Europe. The location is amazing right in front of the beach and set up on the upper hill, which makes the outdoor seating area absolutely perfect with beautiful views and such a relaxing atmosphere. The staff made the experience even better. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and spoke English, which made everything so easy. One thing I really appreciated was that they allowed us a free one-hour late checkout, which felt like such a nice gesture since that’s not always common in Europe. Overall, I had an amazing experience and would absolutely stay here again if I come back to Cassis."

"Superb location that can’t be beat. A short walk to the beach, to the port, to amazing gelato. The staff is wonderful. Helpful, kind, with a smile. The room was clean and well maintained, but the AC struggled with the 30 degree weather, and the room stayed hot through the night (25C downstairs which was hard to put kid to sleep). The layout is also a bit weird, with the bathroom down the creaking circular staircase, a challenge when half asleep. The morning buffet was better than expected, with some gluten free options even!"

"We stayed at the lovely villa, up the road from the main property, so check in was only a little more complicated because someone had to meet us and escort us there. No problem, it was a great stay!! Isabelle communicated well and made the check in process easy. Our view from the terrace of the villa was amazing, and we really enjoyed the hot tub on the deck. It was also great to have a washer to catch up with laundry on our 3 week driving trip (no dryer but a drying rack, and everything was dry by the next morning). Since the villa is quite a walk up the hill we were advised to drive down to the main property and park there to walk into town, which worked out very well—the main property is very close to the harbor, and no long climb back up after! The harbor is lovely with many good restaurants. Cassis is beautiful and we are so glad we were able to make this one of our stops. Of course, we only wish we could have stayed longer!!"
