Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
I will start by saying that the only good things I can say is that the HVAC worked and the sheets were clean. The room was dirty. It looked as though it had not been cleaned in months. There was a layer of dust on everything. there was hair in the shower /bath tub. The furniture which they advertise as antique looked more like something from a yard sale.
Access was convenient, the parking lot comes with in fee t of the room door. There is no reception area. You can't access your room until 4PM but soon after the Winery and Distillery close. The restaurant was still open.
After a miserable nights sleep on a mattress that rocked like a boat every time I moved, I was enjoying a cup of coffee before packing up and hitting the road. Just then the sprinklers came on and soaked me and my dog.
Lastly, I had expected a quaint little cabin with a picturesque view of the lake and what I found was view of was looked more like a swamp which was obscured by overgrown vines (not grape BTW) brush.
There is a state park adjacent to the property which has some nice walking trails, which my dog and I enjoyed.
