"Max when I checked in was great! He got me all checked in with no problems, so this review does not reflect him in any way. The second nigh 7/21/26 at the hotel there was a bad storm, and my key did not work"
"This is a beautifully and tastefully restored boutique hotel in historic downtown Elkins. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The beds are super comfortable, and the bathrooms are very nice. The hotel has a wonderful bar and restaurant, and the food is superb. This was my 3rd stay at the Tygart. I will definitely be going back, and I highly recommend it!"
"Clean rooms. Staff was friendly and kind. Great to have a microwave and fridge in the room. Water was extremely hot so be careful using sink and shower. Breakfast was bare bones so do not expect eggs, bacon, etc. more of a grab and go style. But brewed coffee is available 24/7 in the lobby as well as an actual coffee pot in your room. We prefer this over a kuerig!
Would stay here again! "
