Welcome to High Hopes, a beautiful dog-friendly cabin rental in Ellijay's historic Walnut Mountain community. With year-round mountain views, a private hot tub, game room, fire pit, easy paved access and three levels of comfortable living space, High Hopes is an ideal North Georgia getaway for families, couples and friends.

One of the best parts of High Hopes is the view. Large windows bring the mountains into the living space, while the covered and open decks give you plenty of room to enjoy morning coffee, watch for deer and wildlife, or simply slow down and take in the peaceful Walnut Mountain surroundings.

The main level features an inviting great room with a seasonal gas fireplace and 65-inch Smart TV, along with a recently remodeled, fully equipped kitchen that's ready for everything from quick breakfasts to family dinners.

Three bedrooms spread across three levels give guests plenty of privacy. The main-level king suite includes a private bath with walk-in shower. Upstairs, a second king suite features its own private bath and balcony overlooking the mountain views. The terrace level offers a queen bedroom and full bathroom.

Downstairs, the game room with shuffleboard, poker/game table and Smart TV gives everyone another place to relax and spend time together.

Outside, soak in the private hot tub beneath the North Georgia sky, gather around the fire pit, grill dinner on the gas grill, or settle into the deck and enjoy the mountain air.

High Hopes is also dog friendly for up to two dogs weighing 50 lbs. or less, so your four-legged family members don't have to miss the getaway.

Guests also enjoy all-paved road access, making High Hopes easier to reach than many mountain properties. During your stay, enjoy access to Walnut Mountain's seasonal community swimming pool and year-round tennis courts.

High Hopes puts you within easy reach of downtown Ellijay, North Georgia wineries, apple orchards, hiking, fishing, tubing, scenic drives, restaurants and shopping, while giving you a peaceful mountain retreat to return to at the end of the day.

All of our cabin rentals are fully furnished and include a minimum of the following unless otherwise stated in the listing:

Fully equipped kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, Keurig/drip combo dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans

Linens for each bed, (2) bath towels (1) hand towel (1) wash cloth per person listed on reservation, dressers or closets for clothing storage, central heat and air, vacuum and/or broom and dust pan, mop, cable or satellite TV, internet, telephone for local calls.

In addition we provide a complimentary start-up supplies of: Toilet Tissue (2 rolls per bathroom), Paper Towels, (1 roll), Garbage Bags (2-3 bags) , Dishwasher Detergent (1-2 loads) Laundry Detergent (1 load), and Dish Washing Soap (mini bottle).

Many of our cabins include more than this basic list of inventory items.

The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.

Required Fees: (Cleaning, Processing & Damage Insurance), 15% lodging tax added to all reservations

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO THE CABIN ARE E-MAILED TO YOU 7 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL IF YOUR RESERVATION HAS BEEN UPDATED WITH YOUR GUEST LIST AND COPY OF YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE. WE DO NOT ALLOW SAME DAY CHECK IN'S ON SATURDAYS OR SUNDAYS.

PLEASE NOTE: Last minute reservations (14 days prior to check in) will be required to check in at the Mountain Oasis office prior to 5pm, Mon-Fri unless previous arrangements are made in advance. Reservations made after 5pm for same day check in are NOT allowed.
