Romantic Waterfront Suite With Amazing Water Views, Hedgehog unit

  • UNIT NAME: HEDGEHOG

    This beautiful private waterfront vacation home is located on the 165+ft of picturesque shorefront in Gills Rock, Wisconsin. The windows and balcony offer a panoramic water view to Hedgehog Harbor and to unforgettable sunsets. The rocky lakefront beach offers great swimming and water fun opportunities for water lovers. The property is located only two minutes walking distance from a marina. The unit has a roomy three car garage on the main floor used as a game room with pool table, ping pong table and many other games available (shared with another unit). We also offer complimentary paddleboards, kayaks and bikes for our customers (first come, first serve shared with the other unit).

    The suite is located on the second floor and includes 2 Queen beds, sitting area and full kitchen with variety of appliances and dishes. The room has an impressive cathedral ceiling, elegant gas fireplace and carpeted flooring. The unit has amazing views both from inside and from the balcony to Green Bay waters, to Hedgehog Harbor. The rental unit has also a roomy walk in closet and a bathroom with marble tile, jetted bathtub, shower and granite counter top. Area under the balcony can be used as patio for grilling and outdoor entertainment.

Are stay at this location was beautiful and relaxing. Being right on the lake, and having amazing view to seeing the stars at night was so breathtaking. The jetted tub in Vrbo was perfect to relax and warm up during such a cold time to stay.

We love this place for the 2 of us. Beautiful location right on the water in Gills Rock. Small but functional kitchen, so we can eat some meals in. Great bathroom and huge closet. The views are spectacular all day and into the evening! And the sunsets!! Gretel and Dan are amazing hosts and we will return, again and again!

We have enjoyed staying at this property at least 2 times/year for several years. The location on the water is perfect and the sunsets are stunning. The small kitchen is wonderful for being able to have several means there, and the space works well for just my husband and me. Dan & Gretel are wonderful hosts! I enjoyed taking one of the new see-through paddle-boards out for a try!!

Beautiful, peaceful get away

Very cozy and comfortable. View is gorgeous and the area is quiet. The condo. is well- appointed and has a very attractive bathroom with Jacuzzi tub. The deck is large and private. We enjoyed our visit very much and plan to return. On a side note: the hot water is scalding hot, so perhaps could be turned down to avoid accidental burn.

Beautiful inside and out but hope a loud dog doesn't stay next door!

Only issue was the slightly attached neighboring rental left their dog alone and it barked constantly for two or three hours reverberating up a back stairwell into the apartment. Did contact property manager but he couldn't do anything. Took one star off for this. Otherwise had a great stay! Beautiful view and front yard! Would have used the paddle boards or kayaks and fire pit if we had more time without rain. Felt like a safe and quiet neighborhood. Kitchen has the basics for cooking. Did have some salt, pepper, garlic powder and oil at the time of our stay and was enough for a few meals. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was gorgeous. Would stay again and chance neighboring unit having a barky dog.
