Lovely weekend

Excellent location to nearby golf coursrs and beaches. Delicious food, good priced wine and beer. Large comfy rooms, large ensuite.

The staff were all excellent - welcoming, helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was delicious - lots of options in a relaxed restaurant. The Sunday carvery was also delicious - plentiful choice of vegetables and sides. The room was very comfortable - we had a very relaxing stay.

Amazing 2 days

Had a wonderful 2 day stay in Newburgh Inn, spotless rooms, with everything you need, comfy bed, delicious food, some of the friendliest staff I have met. Hope I will be able to return soon.

Let down

Unfortunately there isn't too much positives regards this hotel. Great location for the seals but thats about it. The blonde waitress (colour for ref as didnt catch name) was attentive and helpful. The room was tired, mattress was bent like a banana some switches weren't working, pull out sofa bed was torn, no working tv channels etc. I know this hotel has had some issues from previous ownership but if your not prepared for guests dont take bookings it wasent worth the cost.

Room was very clean and smelled fresh, had all that you needed - tea/coffee , hair dryer etc, bed was really comfortable, en-suite was very clean and the towels were really soft. The staff were really nice, friendly and very accommodating. The food was delicious - we had an evening meal and the free breakfast in the lovely restaurant which is also dog friendly. When the restaurant area was closed, you could use the bar. It had an outdoor area and parking facilities. Really enjoyable accommodation/stay and would definitely recommend it !

Nice room but mix up with bill

Stayed for business and room was very spacious & had Sky TV with movie channels. Food in bar/restaurant was very good with plenty of choice. Disappointed at being charged by hotel despite paying for the room in advance with Hotels.com - so had to pay bill then ask Hotels.com to contact Newburgh Inn to arrange refund to my Credit Card.

Good stay and the facilities were nice, but marred by the fact that after I had driven 400 miles to get there arriving at 20:03, I was refused any food being told that the kitchen closed at 20:00, despite the fact people were still eating in the restaurant! Poor service I am afraid.

Our stay was lovely and restful. We were in room 11 which has a double aspect. It was quiet, the bed was very comfortable. Shower hot. Decorated nicely. The only downside was no TV as sky was down. The lovely Scottish breakfast was plentiful and hot. Staff very welcoming and helpful. And best thing deal beach is only a 6 month nute walk away. Would definitely stay here again.

Very pleasant stay

Very nice stay here. Nice part of the world & all staff were friendly!! Would definitely consider staying again if ever in the area. Breakfast was good but slightly slow service which wasn’t our servers fault as she was very busy & working alone. She was very friendly. Bar stayed open late which worked well with us catching up with friends. And the bar staff were great, didn’t feel like they were rushing us at the end of the night.

Quiet weekend stopover

Quiet town/village feel. Easy to find and park. Restaurant has lots of choice and many locals eating there, which is a very good sign. Welcoming check in.
