Excellent hotel with an amazing location and great decoration.

Finding this gem was a highlight of my long trip. My room was absolutely perfect - comfy, clean, and even had its own little private patio where I sat and finished work with a glass of wine upon arrival. Its location was ideal - on a quiet, pretty street just a few minutes’ walk of the old city restaurants/shopping. Breakfast at the hotel was perfect. Fellow guests were friendly. And hosts Kevin and Roxana couldn’t have been more warm, sweet, or helpful - spending time with me to provide travel...

I really enjoyed my one day stay at hotel ocean. It was five minutes out of the old city. Very walkable. The room was small, but more than sufficient. There’s no elevator, therefore the staff offered to assist with the luggage. Good free overnight parking in a lot right in front of the hotel. There was a recommendation also for dinner, but I decided to go elsewhere because I wanted to go into the old town the breakfast was a continental breakfast, but quite a few and unlimited choices. Superb hotel. It’s a unique property that’s been thoughtfully and beautifully restored. It’s even better in person than in the photos. Lots of comfortable outdoor spaces to enjoy the incredible views. Staff was attentive and welcoming. Can’t wait to come back!

Great location and staff

We stayed here for 4 nights and had an overall good experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was small (16m2) but it had everything we needed. We were contacted prior to our stay about our room preferences (1 double bed vs two single beds or bathtub vs shower) and our preferences were taken into account. Close to beach and citadel. One has to clean up and wash dishes or one will be charged a cleaning fee.

The hotel’s location is excellent. I would recommend parking in the large carpark outside the wall (5-min walk from the hotel). The hosts are so sweet, professional and friendly! They go out of their way to serve you and make your stay super comfortable. They take their time chatting with guests and bring anything you ask. The rooms are on the small size but that is everywhere in Saint Malo as all the buildings are small. The owners said they’re going to renovate the hotel in the coming months...

This hotel is absolutely amazing with an incredible restaurant! Our room (apartment actually) was simply perfect with 2 separate bathrooms and a terrace to view the sunset from at night… The walk from the hotel could take us to amazing views of the Pointe and beaches. And it is 5 minutes drive from the most beautiful beach!

We had a very nice stay at hotel. We even added a night because the location is so convenient and the service was excellent and welcoming. We only can recommend the hotel.

Modern, updated hotel with a convenient location to the train station. I ate at the on site restaurant for dinner; definitely caters to solo / business travelers during the week. Only complaint is the toilet seat, it’s semi-square / semi-U shape, very narrow, and not comfortable at all!

Never see anywhere better services than this hotel’ staff. They have provided excellent services , so quick check in and check out
