The property was beautiful, the staff was friendly and very helpful. We felt so welcomed. Lots of history in the area, great hikes, beautiful views, and beaches nearby. Highly recommend!
The people of Antigua are the kindest, most cheerful I’ve ever experienced. Staying at the historic Copper and Lumber Inn has been an outsize pleasure because of the lovely staff and gorgeous property.
Great historical property that’s well maintained on the waterfront. Last minute booking that worked out great for our family! The team was courteous and helpful.
I really enjoyed my overnight stay here. The room is very space full, clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was plentiful. The staff were friendly and the historical location was wonderful. The beautiful Pigeon beach is about 15 mins walk and the shops and restaurants are very closed too.

Incredible building and setting, steeped with history. Room was lovely and over two floors. The staff were so friendly and helpful. My only feedback would be about breakfast. The breakfast included in the overnight stay is meagre (continental) and the additional items (at cost) aren’t in the same league as the hotel and surroundings. That said, would definitely stay again.
Absolutely recommended. The hotel is located at a beautiful historical building in English Harbor. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The premise has a lot to offer including a beatiful historical harbor and great seafood dinner on Friday evening. I am happy to spend my birthday at such nice hotel and in the beautiful island of Antigua!
Unique historic building restored as a hotel with period decor. Really charming, great location. No pool or beach, but a water taxi can take you to a beach 5 mins away.
The best part is how wonderful, welcoming, and helpful the staff was - including the 3 ladies who sang Happy Birthday to my husband at breakfast.
Overall it was a good stay. The staff was really friendly. Breakfast every morning was pleasant. The location was fabulous. We’d stay there again in a heartbeat. Close proximity to bars and restaurants. We went to Pillars for dinner. Very good too.
We loved the hiking trail as well. For a short stay, this is such a good option.
No elevator, so stairs are your option. We didn’t think it was a big deal, but something to be aware of regards to expectations.
Definitely 4.5 stars for the 2 days we stayed. Front seat people were so helpful.
Wonderful location in the heart of Nelson’s Dockyard - at night you can have it all to yourself, stroll around and pretend you own one of the many million pound yachts moored there! Seriously, the location is brilliant - where else can you stay in the middle of a UNESCO world heritage site! Five stars!!!
Room was immaculate and all staff were so helpful and friendly. Rooms were spacious and represented their historic origin. Bed big and comfortable and room was well quipped. Hot water in shower could be slow in coming, clearly because of the ‘heritage’ plumbing but was fine once one knew how it all worked.
Wood and varnish and beautiful brickwork everywhere.
Great views from room over harbour and enjoyed being within a world heritage site.
Only suggestion would be to have a few more comfortable places to sit in and around the hotel rather than the room, especially round the inner courtyard.
The property is an historic restoration, brilliantly done, in a gorgeous historic harbor . The staff are amazing...with warm hospitality and professionalism. They were so helpful, particularly Kalia, and treated us like family. They arranged everything we wanted to experience, and chose excellent tours and drivers for us. We can't say enough about our wonderful visit to Antigua, and the staff and atmosphere at C&L were the joyful highlight .
