Todd & Andy McKee, The McKee Brothers, own and operate the Litch Hotel which is part of Eagle Cap Vacation Rentals. They both live in Wallowa County, near Enterprise and are available to be onsite quickly if a need arises.

Sawtooth is located in the historic Litch Hotel on the corner of Main Street and River Street in Downtown Enterprise. Enterprise is generally quieter and slower paced than its more famous neighbor Joseph. Many guests that stay in the Litch Hotel have noted their appreciation for this feature of the location. On the other hand Joseph is a short 10 minute drive away making it a convenient access point to the many outdoor adventures that our guests plan to enjoy during their stays.

Back in the day, the Litch Hotel had 11 apartments and just one bathroom on the 2nd floor (can you imagine?! 😅), but don’t worry — times have definitely changed! Now, you’ll have your very own private bathroom and kitchen, so no awkward run-ins while you’re making that midnight snack 🍕. The entryway outside your unit is the only shared space, so feel free to get cozy and relax however you like — no one’s around to judge your Netflix binges or late-night PJs! 😎🛋️

A large bathroom with tile floors and a rain shower inside a large stand up tiled shower. A hiking themed hand drawn mural adorns the wall and large sink and lit mirror provides more than enough space for make up application.

☆☆ KITCHEN, LOUNGE & DINING ☆☆

The kitchen is well appointed. New appliances and new quartz countertops provide ample of food prep space. Appliances such as a Keurig coffee maker, blender and toaster help make the kitchen meet every guests needs. 16 spices and olive oil ensure your meals will be full of flavor. A small dining table by the front window along with two dining chairs allows for a comfortable dining experience using locally hand made plates, bowls and coffee cups. The kitchen opens into a living room space that provides a comfortable leather sofa facing a large HD flat screen smart TV. The living room also includes a cool chair suspended from the ceiling that guests are able to sit on.

☆☆ OUTDOOR SPACE ☆☆

The front door opens on to River Street directly across from the historical Wallowa County building. Your just a short walk away from several eating establishments and just a short drive away from the Wallowa Lake and the many outdoor opportunities that the Eagle Caps offer. There is plenty of on street parking for guests in the block surrounding the Litch Hotel. In more than a year of operating the hotel, we haven't had a guest complain about not being able to find convenient parking.

Enterprise might be small, but it's big on charm! Here’s how to make the most of your time without getting lost (not that it’s easy to do here 😄).

Downtown? Just walk outside. Yep, you’re basically in the middle of it. 🏙️ Perfect for a leisurely stroll to grab a coffee or check out local shops. ☕🛍️
Joseph is just a short 10-minute drive away for those wanting a taste of small-town fun or the beauty of Wallowa Lake! 🚙🌲
Wallowa Lake is about 15 minutes by car, and trust us, it’s worth the trip for a day of lakeside adventures. 🛶🎣
Need supplies? No worries — the grocery store is just a stone’s throw away. Perfect for stocking up on snacks or dinner essentials. 🍔🍫
Parking? Easy peasy! Free parking is right outside, so no need to stress about finding a spot.
Not in the mood to drive? No problem! Enterprise is totally walkable, and biking around the area is always a great idea! 🚴‍♀️🌞

UNIT DETAILS & POLICIES

🔊 NOISE – PLEASE READ
The Litch is a historic building without modern soundproofing. You will hear neighbors above and next door, as well as footsteps on the stairs and in the hallways. The Litch is a great fit for couples, families, and friends looking for a relaxing home base after exploring Wallowa County. It is not the right place for a bachelor party or a loud group. Most guests are considerate, but occasionally a noisy neighbor checks in. Please keep noise down, especially during quiet hours (10:00 PM – 8:00 AM).

🚪 ENTRANCE
This unit's front door opens directly onto Enterprise's main street. Blinds provide complete privacy, and past guests haven't found street noise to be a significant concern.

🧸 CHILDREN
Families are welcome, but because sound travels so easily, the Litch isn't ideal for children under 8. Running, jumping, and playing can be heard clearly by neighboring guests. If you're traveling with young children, please consider whether the Litch is the right fit, and help them keep noise levels down during your stay.

🪟 VENTILATION
The windows in this unit do not open. To keep things comfortable, the unit has a ductless mini-split (AC and heat), a ceiling fan, and an air purifier.

🐾 PET-FRIENDLY UNIT
Guests with and without pets stay in this unit, so we can't guarantee a dander-free space. Please keep this in mind if you have dog or cat allergies.

🐶 BRINGING A PET?
• Maximum of 2 pets. Please let us know at booking or as soon as plans change.
• $30 per night per pet (non-refundable), including emotional support animals. This fee is billed separately about a week before your stay.
• Pets must be leashed in common areas, kept off furniture and beds, and never left alone in the unit.
• Please clean up after your pet. Supplies for indoor accidents are under the kitchen sink.
• Guests are financially responsible for any damage caused by their pets. Eagle Cap Vacation Rentals is not liable for pet-related injuries or damage.

Our nightly rate covers up to 2 guests, and the unit sleeps up to 4.
• Children 12 and under stay free
• Guests 13 and older are $30 per night
Please register all guests in advance. Unregistered guests may result in cancellation.

🛌 BEDS
Medium-firm memory foam mattresses. Most guests love them, and a few find them on the firm side.

🧺 LAUNDRY
There is no washer or dryer on site. A laundromat is about 2 blocks away, and we also offer a wash-and-fold service (details in our guidebook).

📺 TV & STREAMING
The Smart TV is ready for you to log in to your own apps (Netflix, Hulu, Prime, Disney+, etc.). There is no cable or local channels. For live TV, you'll need a service like Sling, Fubo, or YouTube TV.

🔑 CHECK-IN: After 3:00 PM
• Free early check-in: Call after 12:30 PM on your arrival day. If the unit is ready before 3:00, we're happy to let you in early.
• Guaranteed early check-in: $20/hour, as early as 1:00 PM (arrange in advance).

⏰ CHECK-OUT: By 11:00 AM
Late check-out is available at $20/hour when the schedule allows.

🕙 QUIET HOURS: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
🚭 NO SMOKING anywhere in the unit.
