Excellent place and hosts

Excellent hosts, very comfortable beds, huge, clean, impeccable room, amazing breakfast. We will certainly come back and bring friends to enjoy the Logis d'Equilly. We do recommend it highly.

The hotel is in a wonderful old mansion, in the countryside outside of Mont St. Michel. It's easy to get to. There are restaurant options a short drive away - about 10 minutes for the closest. The suite we stayed had a newly renovated bathroom and plenty of hot water. The grounds are very nice. Hopefully the grand balconies in the rear of the hotel will be open for use in the near future. It would make the stay excellent. Check-in is late, but if you are visiting Mont Saint Michel for the day, as we were, it's actually no big deal.

Madame and Monsieur were very friendly and helpful. The building and guest room were like stepping back in time hundreds of years, but with modern plumbing and electricity. Even the driveway, lined with an arching canopy of beautiful trees, was a thing of beauty.

Not the most dynamic or helpful hosts, they recommend a local restaurant that was closed. Very limited amenities and they seemed reluctant to provide Wi-Fi password. Several days before our trip they tried to get us to change our visit date. They only agreed to honour our reservation if we checked in 2.5 hours later than advertised. When we got there it turned out that we were the only guests and the reason for the date change request was that they had personal guests staying! That being said the room was lovely (but with a strong smell of damp) and the breakfast excellent.

not a chateau as per description, you eat in the owner's kitchen which has a half wall separating the 70 looking kitchen to what was the maid kitchen of the manoir, Room was Ok but not exceptional, Shower was not work properly, no existence of garden or terrace you could enjoy. Will not recommend to stay. in French it is a "gite" not a chateau

Fantastisk, autentisk værtspar. Det er som at blive inviteret ind privat, men med eget værelse og bad Morgenmaden helt unik ned hjemmelavet og lokale specialiteter. Vi fik masser af tips til gode restauranter og seværdigheder. Kæmpe anbefaling herfra!!

Schöne Zimmer mit alten Möbeln. Modernes Sauberes Badezimmer im Stil der alten Zeit. Die besten Gastgeber mit tollen Tipps, großen Anspruch bei den Tipps für die Dinge, die man erleben möchte. Von Tischreservierungen im Restaurant bis zur Unterstützung bei der angestrebten Tagesplanung - alles konnte man mit den Gastgebern besprechen. Das Frühstück wurde mit anderen Gästen im Frühstücksraum an einem Tisch eingenommen. Dabei wurde eine ungezwungene Atmosphäre geschaffen, die alle genossen. Tolles Erlebnis. Einzigartiges Manoir.

Il n’y a rien de négatif . Tout y est parfait! Des propriétaires charmants et en chaque situation toujours plein d’attention. Un havre de paix et d’harmonie où seul le chant des oiseaux est une coulisse sonore et le vent dans les branches des arbres du beau parc. Chambre (St. Jacques) très jolie avec fenêtres côté Est et Ouest, meublée ton sur ton. Salle de bain moderne, mais stylée, rien n’y manque. Chaque jour discrètement et parfaitement nettoyées. Atmosphère très conviviale dans un cadre plein de charme, beau dans chaque pièce et chaque détails. Élégant mais sans exagération… c’est un château plein d’histoire mais pas un musée, on y vit… C’est seulement au petit déjeuner, pris dans la grande cuisine, qu’on se rend compte qu’on a des voisins de chambre! Fortement à recommander: la table d’hôtes. Excellent. Dommage d’avoir dû partir de cet endroit féerique, nous aurions bien aimer y rester jusqu’à la fin des temps..

J'avais souhaité trouver un endroit plein de charme pour le premier séjour en France,et je peux dire que j'ai trouvé l'endroit parfait. Le logis d'equily est une merveille tenu par des gens formidables. Le lieu est chargé d'histoire et semble transporter les voyageurs dans une autre époque. Belles grandes chambres et propres. Belles renovations. Un bel historique du logis, qui nous est expliqué avec passion. Les jardins pourraient être mieux entretenus. Domage que le site n'accepte pas de laisser un chien dans un des batiments "exterieurs" vides, pour la nuit.

Beautiful chateau!

Beautiful heritage boutique chateau; some parts of the mansion date back to the 12th Century. Quiet, forest ambiance. Lovely garden with huge stone basin. Friendly, owners tenants. Moment de pause.

Un havre de paix, hors du temps et de l’agitation pourtant proche de nombreux lieux emblématiques normands, Mont Saint Michel en tête, dont la découverte débutera autour de la table d’hôtes. Mener la vie de château n’est jamais déplaisant ! Nous vous recommandons l’expérience.
