Children running up and down the corridors - great if that’s what you’re there for, but not if you expect a hotel stay! The grounds and buildings are beautiful, but it needs a clearer explanation of what you are going to."

"The reception staf was helpful but not very polite. Room was nice but was cold in the morning as heating was switched off.. Id rather have no heating in the evening under the blanket then to wake up into a cold room. "

"Good communal area for children and staff were pleasant. However there was a very strong unpleasant smell thoughout the hotel and in the rooms. There was also large stains on the carpet in the hallways which were wet - we assume they had been recently cleaned. Breakfast was ok - however they had ran out off pastries when we attended at 9.30. Overall unlikely to stay again due to cleanliness/smell. "
