It took over 40 min to process and receive my room card.There was no queue either,just indiffrence to the customer needs.I got finally to my room at quarter to 1 in the morning. The only good thing was close proximity to the train station. Literally 5min fast walk.

Staff waiting to greet even though we arrived after 22.00. Quick service and lovely room. Only fault (not sure if Expedia or Hotel), but I did message the hotel twice through Expedia and never received a reply. Very hard to contact the hotel directly - pretty much impossible unless we rang.

This hotel is at Erfurt main train-station, the beautiful old city of Erfurt os a 15 mintes walk away. It is an economical "design-hotel" with freindly and efficient staff. The rooms are well laid out and clean. A 24-hours reception- and bar-service is a welcome service-feature.

Rooms are well done and fairly quiet for a location next to train station. Staff was very nice. Free hot chocolate and coffee was a hit with the family. Played games downstairs which was nice.

Excellent location for arrival by train, just a short walk. Room was very modern but extremely small. Breakfast was very good but lacking any hot items.

Short business trip. Good value for money. Breakfast ok but nothing special. Coffee, juices are low end. Rest fine. No fitness facility but for the price more than ok

Having multi lingual staff was massively useful for those have us who are less skilled. The only thing I would ask them to add would be a doorbell. Trying to check-in after midnight (ICE train delays!) needed a friendly other customer to let me in to check-in. Not a huge issue at all, but would have been nice is all.

Nice hotel in the old town but not free parking.

Nice hotel in central old town Abensberg. Service was ok, but I was confused that the free parking for the hotel meant two hours and then you must move between 8am and 6pm...the hotel had paid parking spots but they were all booked at our arrival. Outside these hours there was some places you could park for the night and if you wanted a free 24hour parking you needed to park in a parking lot outside the old town. That was only 5 min of walk from the hotel but anyway..not a free hotel parking as I assumed from the description. The room was large and clean and the breakfast good and varied.

Worst check in of my life with awful service

Spent 1 hour checking in at 3.20am with no other customers around after a very long drive. Initially i was told nobody had a reservation and the clerk seemed unwilling to investigate. Then when I prove i have a reservation, he demands a credit card because he doesn't trust a confirmation email sent directly to me and to the hotel from Hotels.com Ask for a later check out considering I've lost 1 hours sleep to be told i have to pay extra! Really rude and strange behaviour yet claims to be polite with me. I hope that his managers can play back the video of this check in to prove the point that it was wrong from beginning to end. Blames Hotels.com and suggests i should reserve with a competitor. On departing reception, I ask to the clerk about the free coffee that's advertised and then blames me for talking too much making a false accussation for the reason why i didn't tell him. Oh and the extortionate car parking at the rear can be saved by parking at the side of the hotel on a car park behind the bus stops and 10 spaces marked with an X if you don't mind unsecure but they won't tell you this. Seriously, look elsewhere for a hotel, especially if you want a fast check in and decent service checking in, will not be visiting again for sure. I'm a time served travel agent and expect a far higher standard for the simplest of tasks.
