"We hebben een fantastische vakantie gehad in dit prachtige huis, gelegen op een geweldige en rustige locatie. Rondom het huis is ontzettend veel ruimte, waardoor je volop privacy en rust ervaart. Ook de afsluitbare poort bij het huis vonden we erg prettig. De weg naar het huis toe was in het begin wel even een uitdaging. Gelukkig zijn we netjes achter de eigenaar/eigenaar gereden en daardoor ging het prima. Na een paar keer rijden wen je er vanzelf aan en weet je precies hoe je moet rijden. Het huis zelf is ruim en de bedden waren prima. Op iedere slaapkamer was goede airconditioning aanwezig, wat met warm weer echt heerlijk was. 👍 Wel merkten we dat de elektriciteit niet altijd voldoende was om meerdere apparaten tegelijkertijd te gebruiken. Ook het gasfornuis had soms behoorlijk wat tijd nodig om alles goed te verwarmen, zeker wanneer je voor 10 personen aan het koken bent. De eigenaresse was ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Toen we merkten dat er geen fijn koffiezetapparaat aanwezig was, hoefden we maar één berichtje te sturen. Ze kwam meteen in actie en regelde direct een koffiezetapparaat voor ons. Echt top service! De vaatwasser is wel echt aan vervanging toe. Hij maakte de vaat helaas niet goed schoon, waardoor we uiteindelijk veel met de hand hebben afgewassen. Het grote zwembad is absoluut een pluspunt en we hebben daar heerlijk gebruik van gemaakt. Wel denken we dat ook het zwembad inmiddels toe is aan een opknapbeurt. Er waren verschillende tegeltjes los of kapot. Daarnaast zijn er nog een aantal dingen die naar onze mening vervangen of verbeterd zouden kunnen worden, zoals het hekwerk rondom het huis, de lounge bank die behoorlijk was doorgezakt en het voetbalspel dat kapot was. Ook in de keuken misten we wat praktische spullen, zoals voldoende bakjes en schalen. Met een groep van 10 personen heb je daar toch best veel van nodig. Daar staat tegenover dat er twee fantastische grote koelkasten met diepvries aanwezig waren. Dat was echt ideaal met zo’n grote groep! Al met al is het een fantastisch huis op een prachtige locatie. Er zijn zeker een aantal punten die aandacht verdienen en met wat aanpassingen en vernieuwingen kan het huis nóg completer en comfortabeler worden. Maar ondanks deze verbeterpunten hebben wij ontzettend genoten van ons verblijf. We hebben een fantastische vakantie gehad en zullen vooral de mooie omgeving, de rust, de ruimte en de fijne sfeer van het huis onthouden!"

"We stayed for 5 days in July and we were very well looked after. The staff were very warm and welcoming when we arrived. The building has been renovated to a high standard and is kept very clean and well maintained by the hard working staff. Lots of nice details such as roof terrace, espresso pod machine in the corridor on each floor, a safe and fridge in the room with alcoholic and soft drinks which were complementary (I have never experienced this in any hotel). The rooms have good air con and modern bathrooms. There is a free public car park 5 mins walk from the hotel up a steep hill. The town is lovely but very hilly so less able walkers may struggle. The highlight for us was the restaurant. We were half board and had breakfast and lunch or dinner each day. The meals of chef José were outstanding. They were healthy and beautifully presented, generous portion sizes and full of Andalusian flavours using local produce. It was one of the best dining experiences we have had in any hotel or restaurant. We were also well looked after by Emily in the restaurant who helped make it such a wonderful experience. Thank you so much Jose and Emily! Well done everyone at the Hostal Boutique Tolox Sierra de las Nieves. We highly recommend staying and/or eating there and we would be very happy to stay there again.
