    "The Escala Gite is one of our favourite destinations and we continue to come back each year during May, both for group cycling holidays, and more recently in June for a family holiday with our young children. Over the years we have seen the Farmhouse occupancy grow as further extensions have been developed, allowing us to host cycling groups. Due to the expansive layout of the gite, multiple living areas and generous numbers of toilets and bathrooms, the place never feels crowded at all, everyone has plenty of personal space, as well as the opportunity to socialise.
    Graham is a fantastic host and nothing is too much of an ask for him. He is great to communicate with, speaking both English and French.

Fantastic Views

Overlooking (arguably) one of the most beautiful valleys in the French Pyrenees, this was a great place for our holiday with three generations of extended family. The late summer weather was exceedingly good, the wildlife numerous and for the most part obliging, and there was a magnificent swimming lake forty minutes away. The farmhouse is traditional rustic French in the heart of rural countryside, with all that entails, and nothing is too precious - so the place and its locality is to be enjoyed. The owner, Graham, was very accommodating and helpful, and has produced detailed notes to ensure guests get the best out of their stay.

Un gite parfait pour groupe !

Nous étions un groupe de 20 amis en retrouvailles, et ce gite est absolument parfait pour les groupes ! Nous avons loué le gite principal + "l'annexe", idéal pour permettre un endroit plus calme pour les personnes avec enfants. Il y a quelques ballades sympathiques accessibles à pied, et on peut facilement s'enfoncer dans les montagnes pour aller chercher de belles randonnées ou du ski. De plus, de nombreux commerces sont à proximité ainsi qu'une gare TER, très pratique pour la logistique ! Le gite est spacieux et bien équipé (appareils à raclette, jacuzzi, billard, ping pong, vaisselle en général) et la vue est sublime !! Les draps avaient été préparés avec soin avant notre arrivée. De nombreuses salle de bains, plusieurs salons et cuisines... encore une fois très pratique pour les groupes ! Le propriétaire Graham est très réactif et arrangeant, les échanges sont simples, fluides et agréables pour toute demande d'information. Bref, le séjour s'est très bien déroulé !! Je recommande ce gite pour tout séjour de groupe dans les environs et encore un grand merci à Graham et aux personnes qui l'aident pour tous les préparatifs. Nous gardons cette adresse en tête pour nos prochains passages !

Bonjour, Nous avons.passé un bon séjour dans l'ensemble. La vue sur les montagnes est très agréable. Mr Graham, le propriétaire est au petit soin de ses hôtes, sachant qu'il loge dans le jardin, il sera avec vous. Concernant la maison, assez rustique, elle peut accueillir un grand groupe qui souhaite la simplicité. N'oubliez pas d'apporter vos jeux aussi. Le gros plus c'est le jacuzzi, très agréable lors des soirées fraîches.

The BEST getaway

I cannot put into words how good our time in Escala was. Graham was absolutely incredible as a host, and the house is impeccable. It’s a perfect getaway for friends and family, in the most scenic picturesque location. The house has everything: a pool, jacuzzi, plenty of common areas, a second house!! It’s honestly one of the best places we have rented as a group, and hope that many others get to experience the place the way we did. Thank you Graham for a marvelous stay!

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel avec mes amis. La maison est incroyable, et le propriétaire est extrêmement arrangeant. Beautiful view just like a painting.

We rented the gite with 5 families and we had an excellent holiday. The view and location is phenomenal. The children enjoyed the streams and rivers in the area, in addition they had not had enough of the swimming pool, jacuzzi and of course the game room. Unfortunately too short. Also, on behalf of our families, I would like to express great praise to Fiona who was a great help. The owner Graham is a real gentleman and is always there for you. Highly recommended for those looking for a relaxed and beautiful holiday home 👍🏞.
