"We have had the best five day stay at the hotel. The reception staff are simply amazing they even gave us a welcome drink upon arrival, told us everything we needed to know about the hotel and surrounding area. They have been so helpful, informative and generous, nothing was too much trouble. Sofia in particular helping us with our car hire needs. "For a long time I wanted to stay and did read many reviews the hotel is all people rave about and more ! Amazing balcony views and i did enjoy the view of the Port of Funchal it really has the best location in Funchal . The rooms are spacious with a very private balcony (6th floor) extremely comfortable beds. The service was excellent from everyone we met . "
