Generous hosts and cute property, but had some downsides
Firstly I just want to say the hosts were very generous with gifting us food for our stay and being communicative. The interior and decor were very cute and nice. Beautiful farmland right outside was lovely to see too. We were staying here for our honeymoon and some of the downsides made the experience less enjoyable for us. We had an issue with ants/bugs that we communicated about and hosts did their best to help out but it made us uncomfortable using any part of the kitchen as the ants were persistent. Also had a roach and other bugs crawling around us on the bed at times. The soundproofing near the main house was also pretty poor, we were woken up daily by either barking dogs or slamming doors right outside. Understandable that it is their home but since we were on vacation we did not enjoy being jolted awake almost every morning by loud sounds. Hosts did a good job trying to make it an enjoyable experience but we were really disappointed by the bugs and noises affecting the tranquility of our stay.
