The property was beautiful with a feel akin to the roaring 20s. It's a short walk to downtown Eureka and the boardwalk. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the lounge was an easy getaway after a fun filled day. This place will definitely be a repeat destination.

The room was huge! It was also clean. There was an ottoman that should be replaced. The TV options need to be expanded. I spent a lot of time in the room in the evenings, and the selection wasn't good. The staff was excellent and friendly. Breakfast was way better than I expected. loved this place, i would stay there again.

It's 100% Eureka. Uniquely, Eureka. Very cool, old hotel. But that area is not for those seeking a quiet stay. It's perfect for events. But the housekeeping missed some details that meant for not wanting to touch things like the shower curtain.

This hotel is charming because it is a vintage establishment and has a great history of important people staying there. They commemorate these people portraits hanging on the walls. The staff was pleasant enough. The lack of counter space in the bathrooms was kind of a problem, but I looked past this because the rooms were cute and charming. The breakfast was pretty good for being continental.

Lovely historic old (103 yrs.) hotel. As such you can hear the footsteps of people in the room above but overall a quiet and pleasant stay. The parking lot is fenced, the staff quite nice. To our surprise the restaurant and bar were closed, as was the pool for maintenance, but none of that affected our stay.
