There are 3 power generator boxes in the parking area that whine loudly all night long (despite closing the window). The AC is right next to the bed (which is ok) but it's also very, very loud. The lights are left on on the walkways and balconies in front of the rooms (we didn't feel unsafe in the area) but the black-out curtains have a 5" gap at the top, which lets a lot of bright light into the room all night long.

We were quite pleased with everything about our stay at Motel 6 in Eureka, CA. The room was clean, beds were comfy, shower was good, refrigerator was cold and there was ample room for everything. Good Job!

The refurbished room was nice. The room looked toward the storage unit place next door so I could not look out to see my vehicle. Whenever someone walked past my 2nd story room, the floor shook. I could here what the people outside were talking about. All in all, a good place to crash when on a road trip.

Place was very nice! Motel 6 has kind of dropped off in recent years, but this place was clean and didn't seem to have anyone living there permanently. Back side away from street was quiet.
