"This was our third stay at Fairwinds. It is becoming an annual tradition now for our family. And we have already booked next year. Part of me is reluctant to give as great a review as this property deserves because I don’t want more people to find out about it. But that would be selfish. It is such a magical place and Fairwinds gives modern comfort while placing you at the edge of the Hermitage which is steeped in history and tradition. Fairwinds is a magical, wonderful home with stunning views over the sea, with fabulous gardens and pool, constant cooling breezes off the mountain, the quiet and tranquility that melts away the stresses of the world and a place to feel at home with the best that Nevis has to offer. We have travelled to Nevis for the past 40 years. We are so happy to have found Fairwinds. "

"This is a lovely house, well equipped with all that you need for your stay. The seating is comfortable with several dining area options. There is a smart TV with sign-in for your streaming services. One more sun lounger is needed to complete the six and maybe one replaced.The inside was impeccable, the only additional cleaning would be a routine for the pool area. Lots of fans and good AC if you need it but the breeze flowing through the home makes largely unnecessary. Huge fridge freezer should be ample for most needs. Communication with Anna was good and directions to the house were spot on. We used Nevis Car Hire and they took our luggage to the villa and we followed meaning we did not need to hire a big car just for luggage, great service. The key was not there when we checked in, which was a bit scary as our phones were not yet working but Patterson turned up with them soon after we arrived, explaining that the cleaner had forgot to leave them. The was useful as he did a walkthrough and explained everything. Start up supplies had kindly been arranged and we're there for our arrival. Everything was just as described."

"The house, the pool, the property, and the view are beautiful. The grounds are meticulously maintained. We enjoyed our stay there and had everything we needed to be comfortable. We were concerned before arriving about the lack of air conditioning but it truly is not needed. We were never uncomfortable during the day or at night. The central location is convenient with grocery stores and several great restaurants nearby. You can get to any point on the island within 20 minutes. The host and the house manager were both very responsive and helpful. Overall, a great stay and a beautiful island. "
