"My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by this hotel! We have gone past it a number of times while camping in Ontonagon and thought it would be a “basic hotel”. We were wrong! It has a pool, hot tub, restaurant, bar, gift shop and very clean rooms. The employees were very friendly and the free breakfast was an upgrade from the usual fare at other hotels. We will certainly stay there again!"

"Such an amazing place!!! The Whitetail cabin was the perfect place to unwind!!! Close enough to hear Lake Superior from the deck and just a short walk to the awesome beach!!! Our dog absolutely loved it too!!! We will definitely be back and will recommend."

"We loved that the Lake was right across the road from us and we were close to the Porcupine Stare Park entrance. We didn’t like that there was no staff on duty when we arrived and we didn’t see anyone all the next day either even though we were in and out several times. They had left a key for us on the counter. There was a number to call but no one answered/no voicemail available. The cold water didn’t work in our sink.
