First time staying in a hotel into Christmas Day, great touches from the hotel, including a personal Christmas card in the room and fizz at breakfast

The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. Excellent shower and very good storage for clothes etc. Please can there be a towel rail or ring for hand towels which have to be folded by the sink just where you want to put your things. Claire came to meet us and show around, how things worked, especially the gas fire( I would never have found the lever to switch it on).The cottage is really excellent, beautifully presented as a home not a bare soulless place with cheap cotton covered furniture. Exeter needs more cabs or Uber! Could not get a cab on a Saturday afternoon! Quite a hassle to return my car to Enterprise , then take a bus in the opposite direction to the train station.
Exeter was interesting. We went to the Exeter Cathedral and don’t miss it if you go. The only down side to the Best Western is if you use your GPS to find it you can be routed on some very narrow roads coming from the south east. Call for directio
Lack of street names made it hard for someone not familiar with area to get around
We were in Exeter again for the graduation of my daughter, the end of Exeter after 3 years! we liked this little town very much
An excellent place to visit. The cathedral is a jewel that shouldn’t be missed. It is a gateway to Dartmoor, another place which people should visit. Grismpound is a must see place of discovery.
