"There were no staff at all. Very basic and noisy from the room next to us. Needs updating. Also website still has that it is a restaurant and bar downstairs and it's not. For £5 more we could have gone to the premier inn 2 doors down. Won't be staying again."

"Great stay at the Roxburgh. I had a room with a lovely sea view. The room had everything I needed, including a large shower and fresh milk in the fridge which was a bonus. The bed was a little soft for my liking but I slept well with the sound of waves and no other noise. The breakfast choice was good with friendly service. Plenty of parking was available."

"2 night stay , parking was perfect , the room was a very generous double … huge bed , and in like a motel type set up . So despite being on a road was not noisy . Perfect to explored Holy Island Donna one of staff was a 5star herself , nothing was too much trouble , and we were welcomed and well looked after -thanks "

"This was a lovely place to stay which we chose partly because it has some EV charging facilities. The restaurant and bar have a good selection with well kept beer and the staff are helpful and friendly. We especially recommend the panna cotta, however, all the food was good. The bedroom and bathroom were a good size and well appointed with tea, coffee and water. We would visit again "

"The property is very well equipped, clean and tidy . Good shower plenty of hot water and heating. The main drawback for us personally was the very hard mattress in the main bedroom, the second double bedroom mattress was similar .The location is good for seeing Holy Island and also the Scottish borders but the A1 is a very busy road and was quite noisy. Northumberland is a beautiful county and well worth a visit. "
