The restaurant Fairfix was AMAZING. The staff was the most fun/personable we have met and food was delicious! Cozy small town, a good distance from wineries and hiking and coast.

Shops nearby were helpful. Super close to a big Macy’s that had food options and in walking distance of a Trader Joe’s. The pool was under maintenance while we stayed which we were not informed about before hand. That was disappointing.

Old Marin town with a cool, funky vibe. Live music venues, restaurants and small shops are all around. Fairfax is also close to great outdoor recreation like the Samuel P Taylor Redwoods and the Bay Ridge trails. Also a great cycling spot.
