The Banking Hall
The house offers a vast, open plan kitchen/dining/living area with something for everyone: a well-equipped kitchen, space for formal and informal dining and an additional daybed that converts into a full-size double. Entertainment is provided by a 55 inch TV with Amazon Firestick and a Foosball table, as well as traditional board games. The downstairs area is completed by a large, spa-style wet-room with an elegant, walk-in rain shower. A spectacular spiral staircase takes you to the first floor bedrooms, each designed to be a tranquil retreat. The master bedroom leads to an en-suite bathroom with double wash-basins, contemporary fixtures and a free-standing bath.
The driveway for the Banking Hall is shared with Holmbank House, formerly the bank manager’s residence, a separate family home. There is a small patio area for exclusive use of Banking Hall guests, and off street parking for two cars, with access to an EV charger (by arrangement).
Located next to Polmont train station, the house is a stone’s throw from trains to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling. It is also a short drive from junction 4 on the M9. Closer to home, historic Falkirk, the unique Falkirk Wheel and dramatic Kelpies are all within 10 minutes drive. A five-minute walk takes you to the picturesque Polmont Burn, for a quiet stroll, cycle or run along the canal.
