Waterfront Camp with Boathouse - Wifi, kayaks, canoe and sandy bottom out front.
8/10 Good
"We enjoyed our stay at Ferienhaus. The location and views were perfect- night sky from the top of the boathouse was unbelievable. We spent a lot time in the living room with a cozy fire playing board games. The host was very prompt responding to messages. We did have issues figuring out the heat- temps were in the 30s our first night and although the front of the house was quite comfortable, the back two bedrooms were easily 10-15 degrees cooler and we couldn’t figure out how to get it warmer back there. We would also strongly suggest new mattresses- they have toppers but the king visibly dips in the middle. My husband ended up sleeping in the living room due to the temp and mattress issues."
"Plenty outdoor space such as large deck, covered picnic area, and parking. Property is an integral part of nature (deers visit almost daily the tall-woods-covered hill slope right at the back of property).Indoor space (690 sqft) is a bit tight as an advised 3-bedrooms (the 3rd one is indeed a tiny entertainment den with a sofa). Rooms are very clean and neet."
NICE FULLY FURNISHED QUIET ADIRONDACK CAMP "UNCAS ROAD CABIN IN THE FOREST"
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful area where we stayed--very remote and quiet. Deer popped up on the property and ate up the apple we gave her with relish. The house itself was what I believe a traditional mountain cabin should look like--- and very homey. The bed was also very comfortable, and we both got some terrific sleep there.Everything we needed for our stay was provided and it was perfectly located between Inlet and Eagle Bay with easy access to all the restaurants in both towns not to mention all the hiking trails that are also close by.Highly recommend this vacation spot to all who love ADK."
"Very nice property. House was laid out with lots of space. Back deck and basement game room were a plus. Lots of tvs, cable included. Basic supplies and kitchen items there didnt need anything. Host was very accomadating and reachable. Would stay there again."
Parquet House - A charming 8 Bedroom waterfront property ~ in the heart of Inlet
8/10 Good
"LOVE all the woodwork (knotty pine and wainscot!), the first floor space is fabulous!HUGE table (and multiple tables) as my/our group LOVES complex board games on rainy days. No joke, they played one for 8 hours when it rained ALL day on a Friday!Bedrooms are a reasonable size.We all cook in our group... but there was no blender or really any parts for the mixer... curiously few cooking tools/hotpads/etc....so odd to us. We are used to other people's kitchens being organized strangely, but had a hard time finding things. Cupboards/storage were great. Dishwasher, stove/oven (induction stove!!! Thank you, I have wanted to try one), etc. good.... but we have some rather tall people in our group and the cooking vent/light corners kept hitting them in the forehead! It could be raised about 4-6 inches.... If you are tall, just be careful.Lots of great deck space, and lots of stairs to get there... good emergency lights and multiple emergency exits!Close proximity to some good hiking trails, shops and other useful / helpful / enjoyable places, but REALLY on top of other properties! Light from other properties and street lights may be an issue for some.WIFI was good.Few paper supplies, soap etc., be prepared to bring/buy your own. It's not a hotel."
"We loved staying there! It was VERY clean! My only complaint is you have to bring your own linens and towels. Also. It is difficult programing the tv. All in all, we love the place and will come back"
