"Very friendly, efficient, knowledgeable staff! Bathroom was sparkling clean, seemed recently remodeled and was very spacious. Bed was comfortable. Only thing lacking was a coffee maker, but the microwave was a great substitute! Larger fridge than most hotels. Also had an airport shuttle. Really good value for the money- best deal in Anchorage during summer season."

"The Highland Glen Lodge was a welcome, soft place to land after exploring the magnificent state of Alaska for three weeks. Our room was immaculate, beautifully appointed and had many thoughtful amenities. (Another major plus was that guests were able to use the laundry facilities. Very helpful!) Breakfast was delicious and we were absolutely charmed by meeting and chatting with the owner and her family. Would love to stay here again!"
