I found the staff exceptionally helpful and kind. A very clean hotel with comfortable beds and lovely breakfast room.
A couple of restaurants next door were very useful for an evening meal.
The hotel is dated and tired. Room was just about usable but toilet seat was hanging off so good job we weren’t there longer. They charge extra for carparking. Wouldn’t recommend unfortunately

Found this hotel because it was reasonably priced and in a good area however breakfast included but only served till 9am parkiking was safe but at £10 a day it should be breakfast staff did not speak english but were friendly unlikely to be back
Do not stay here. The hotel owner provides no information as to the £10 per day car park charge until you arrive. Car parking is a must for my business travel. The staff seem generally unhelpful. The carpets in the room were filthy and the towels simply stank. Note there are no drink (tea/coffee) facilities in the room.
Drink options poor, warm wine, no ice
Breakfast average luke warm with limited choice

Hotel needs deep clean
Nice hotel, just needs a little updating but clean on first impressions, but our room needed a deep clean and some touching up with paint, overall happy and nice breakfast.
Room was ok apart from the shower could only be set to scolding hot. Breakfast was fairly scant and I felt like somewhat of an inconvenience to the lady serving. Charged £10 parking but could not provide a VAT receipt for this.

Friendly staff, hotel in pop state of repair.
Starting with the positives this hotel is in a good location, good breakfast and friendly staff and I fully recommend the Gurkha restaurant next to this hotel.
Unfortunately this hotel is let severely down by a he condition of the property which was extremely dated throughout.
This was then exacerbated by rips in the curtains, the toilet seat was broken and to complete the trinity the shower head was hanging by a thread from the ceiling. As I am 6’ 4’’ this made showering difficult to say the least.
Could be great but let down by the lack of investment in the property!

The hotel is conveniently located, the rooms are very dated and could do with modernising.
It is definitely not up to the same standards of a premier inn.
Ideal for our requirements, staff looked after us well. The room and en-suite was great. It was extremely hot on arrival, easily sorted by opening the windows and putting on a super electric fan which reduced the heat in minutes.
Very clean room. All amenities good. Attentive service. Good breakfast.

Toilet door in room 7 does not shut or lock, so there is zero privacy, which I truly dislike. Also, the carpet is stained and dirty.

Could do better
The room was dated and need updating, shower was very poor, no slip mat in bath/shower on second day which is a slip hazard.

It was okay spending two nights at the hotel. Wonderful breakfast, great customer service, but there was so much noise on the first night and couldn’t sleep.
Breakfast was fantastic and included in the price which is a real win. Fantastic staff, comfy bed, bit dated but it was a good stay and the Gurkha restaurant nearby was a great recommendation.

Room was boiling and bathroom was tiny couldn’t put a fan on my side of room no plug sockets said front door would be locked at 12pm and to ring door bell got back at 11.15 door locked and took 20 min to get in no bar open breakfast was gorgeous like bed was comfy
The location of the hotel was ideal for my needs and parking easy. The staff at front desk and in the breakfast area were extremely supportive , courteous and helpful. Breakfast was coooked individually to an order and was excellent quality. Bedroom quite spacious and bathroom very clean. Some minor decor update needed but extremely good value for the quality.
Old property, but very well presented. Lovely decor in the common areas. Very clean. Would stay there again.

It's cheap, that's it.
The Hotel is really dated i.e. Yale key lock and big fob. We had a superior double but hard to see what was superior about it. One room and a separate bathroom with a door that didn't close properly and had no lock. The bathroom was really small with a shower over the bath. They do give you a paper bath mat to stop you slipping in the bath.
The tea and coffee tray and kettle was in the wardrobe! But when you took it out there was nowhere to put it! So had to boil the kettle on the floor! The double bed was small and hard. The breakfast was OK with full English or continental choices, tea, coffee and juices.
Having said all that we only paid £59 for one nights B&B for both of us so can't really complain. There's a nice pub up the road, a Couple of restaurants and a mini market next door

Good for overnight stay
The hotel itself is old and dated. But still comfortable for a one night stay. The person on the front desk was very polite and helpful.. Breakfast was very good.
Not expensive and Value for money I would definitely stay again.

Well kept and spotlessly clean property with off road parking, good location for the exhibition centre and airport. Lovely pub with a huge garden just up the road, 3 minutes to walk
Great, cute little hotel with the nicest family managing. Felt happily welcomed back each night we returned. Only note is it’s not in the most convenient location for walking.
Would/Will stay again
