What a hidden gem, would stay again. Small bedroom but very adequate. Lovely open full kitchen for everyone to use, nice little balcony/communal. Downtown was a bit noisy/walkable

Great welcome from receptionist. Communal kitchen area. Lovely terrace for relaxing/sunbathing. Very clean. My only criticism would be that towels could be upgraded. I enjoy staying here.

Everything about the place was great from the location to the size of my small single room to the teas/coffees/yummy biscuits in the kitchen area. The sweet receptionist made it even better.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Happy House Faro recently. The location was excellent for everything we needed, and the hotel itself was super clean, very comfortable and inviting, and felt very safe. It had such a home from home feeling with it's friendly staff and thoughtful touches like a kitchen area to make hot drinks and biscuits. The outdoor terrace was also a beautiful place to sit any time of day and relax. We loved everything about this place and would happily recommend to anyone staying in Faro. You will not be disappointed! The value of this place is outstanding. Thank you for a wonderful stay :)

Decent facility well located

A tiny bit sparse. Comfortable beds. Acceptable shower pressure and flow. Towels adequate. Linens adequate. Windows opened easily. Wifi adequate. TV included english channels. We chose to leave windows open to minimize use of AC... Mistake!!! Noisy neighbours!!! Closed window to resolve noise issue. Use of kitchen on same floor was a big bonus. Pingo Doce grocery store (with cafe) located 7 minutes easy walk away. Guesthouse was very difficult to find when initially walking from bus station due to lack of street signage. Easy check in.

The shower was a mess. The hose that extended to the shower head was on top of the facet to turn on the shower. It was so close that when you pulled up to turn on the facet the hose would push it back on, so you could hardly turn on the shower. They had no food available except for cookies for breakfast. When we checked in we were told there was a 3 euro “tourist tax” then she asked if we could pay for it separately in tax. This seemed like a scam to me. I think she just wanted a tip for walking us to our room. It was clean, but nothing special. Location was nice but parking was terrible. Would stay somewhere else if we ever come back.

Great staff, Luana was the best host you could find. When taxi never came to take me to bus station, she called a friend who took me there and would not except any payment. Wonderful breakfast included. Would recommend it to anyone.
