They are transforming an old winery into what will eventually be a 5- or 6-star resort, complete with a spa and other amenities. "We stayed for a week and loved everything about this hotel. The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect and everyone was so friendly. We really enjoyed breakfast each morning on the terrace and we used the pool and spa every day. Very relaxing and walking distance to everything in Castellina. Their pasta restaurant located across the street is also very good."

"I cannot say enough good things about Pieve Aldina. This property was beautiful and well maintained. Definitely worth the drive into Tuscany for a peaceful retreat. The staff were excellent and always at your service. Our room was rustic and cozy but the bathroom was spacious and luxurious. I truly enjoyed my stay and wish I had booked a few extra days!"
