The property is beautifully maintained with a nice indoor pool and hot tub. We also had a whirlpool tub in our King suite room which was a pleasant surprise. The property is conveniently located in Fayette so there is easy access to towns and sites in the Driftless region of Iowa.

Staff was super nice and helpful. It’s close to Upper Iowa University for parents visiting their kids. The hotel was well maintained in the instead and out. You feel like you are in a hotel that has been in a Hallmark movie.

Great place. Wonderful staff. No elevator, so request first floor if you’re stair-challenged. I’d stay here again in a minute.

Boarders is a great small town hotel with all the amenities of a hotel in a big town. The indoor pool and hot tub are great. The free breakfast has great options and there is a small bar. The hotel is very clean and kept up well. Great room options and two rooms I’ve stayed in had hot tubs in the room. It is also great to have full access to Directv. Fayette has limited dining and grocery options but DT’s bar is fun and there is a Dollar General. West Union 8 miles away has some good food options like Hardee’s, Barrel’s, Dairy Queen and a Quill’s supermarket. Check out the restaurants in downtown West Union. Cute little downtown.

Everything was great! Very quiet on Thursday night but as the groups came in on Friday for a golf tournament and baseball tournament, it was busier and louder but not bad. The free breakfast was OK. Given that it was free, expectations weren't very high.

Staff was nice a friendly. Lobby and breakfast was good. Jacuzzi didn’t work and room seemed old and run down. Outdated, chips in paint, vents filthy. Ants in the room. I think it’s the only hotel in town. Not a lot of choices.
