"The room was very clean and large enough to accommodate the 3 of us. We had a very large balcony that was awesome. We asked for and received a fan since we were on the top floor (6th). I thought it was interesting that we had to empty our own trash. First time I have ever encountered that. The room had a very nice kitchen area. The extra bed could have been more comfortable, I think. They put two halves of a mattress on slats and so they tend to separate just enough to notice when you sleep on them. We wanted to be within walking distance of Oktoberfest grounds and this hotel was perfect for that. Minimal noise. We did not get the breakfast. All of the staff were very nice. I would definitely stay here again."

"Room - clean, decent sized, great location (esp for Oktoberfest). Air conditioning was inadequate, and shut off on its own every 2-3 hours, even at night. Could not get temp under 23.5C/75F. Front desk was no help. Room also had a note that a flat sheet could be requested from the front desk but NO ONE at the desk knew anything about that. We were given a twin duvet cover instead. Breakfast was overpriced, eggs were cold right as they were put out."

"This is our second year traveling to Munich for Oktoberfest and staying at the Maritim. The staff at the front desk is very nice and friendly. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The breakfast is consistently fresh, plentiful and they offer a nice variety of options. The piano bar is always relaxing and the staff is friendly. My only and single complaint about this hotel is the location. While it is centrally located and within walking distance to the city center, the train station is directly across from this hotel and you will see sketchy characters at all hours of the day and night."

"Very clean and central hotel in Munich. No frills but if you are exploring Munich all day I recommend as a great base. The local area is a bit dodgy but as long as you are aware it’s fine and also a quick walk to train station from airport"
