Another set au and given the same room as previous, staff always helpful and willing to help. Only gripe is that the bar shuts prompt at 11 and find this a little early if you want a night cap

Reception staff excellent. Breakfast staff good but overstretched. Room 122 , tiny, dark, too hot but a fan provided. The worst we have stayed in Breakfast diabolical. All hot food had been cooked probably 2 hours before. Eggs hard and shrivelled. We have stayed so many times but doubt we will return. So sorry.

Good location for where I was working. My room was large with a comfortable bed. Tea and coffee facilities were good and tv channels ok. Only really downside was very poor water pressure in the shower. I would stay there again.

We were very pleased with our Felixstowe stay at the Orwell. The room was comfortable and clean. The evening meal had an indian influence and I tried some interesting and enjoyable dishes. An adequate breakfast paved the way for the day, after our solid sleep. So if the need calls for a return to the town then we will stay here.

Room basic but very clean, beds really comfy, you get free parking and it's approx 10 min walk along the high street to the beach. Water in bathroom is on some type of water flow restrictor so don't expect a power shower however, the water was hot and bathroom very clean. Person who checked us in wasn't the most welcoming however, the person on reception the next morning was helpful. No Air Con in our room (205) however, there was a fan in the room and you can open the windows. Didn't use the bar or have any food so can't comment on those parts.

Whilst the hotel decor maybe dated, I found my stay comfortable and enjoyable. Best sleep in a long time with the comfortable bed and spacious room. Breakfast very good too. Service from the lady hosting breakfast was very good.

Really helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was really nice. The bed was comfortable. Really liked seeing the elephant out front aswell, really nice touch. Rooms are in need of a bit of modernisation, only 1 plug socket in the whole room.

Convenient location. Stunning bathroom (with shower only) and plenty of toiletries. The TV signal kept getting interrupted. No aircon, only a fan. Noise travelled through from function being held below our room. Old furniture. A fridge in the room would have been nice. Free parking if signed in at Reception. Overall not a bad hotel.
