"Beds were good and room was very comfortable. Air-conditioning was nice although if you open up the curtains at all, it cannot keep up. Comfortable stay. Biggest drawback is the elevators which was ridiculous. It was not uncommon to wait 15 minutes for an elevator (at the lobby) when there were three operating . I don’t know what was going on, but they did not operate correctly at all."

"Stayed July 2026 - Family of 4 Highly recommended. Small mini fridge was very helpful. AC worked well. Get the room with a view, it is lovely to sit out on the balcony. Yes, its dated but it is very well kept and you can really appreciate the beauty of the hotel. The staff were polite and helpful with my several encounters. The grounds are beautiful. We will return."

"amazing spot in Hilo town. The hustle and bustle sounds can be heard right in the area of this establishment. But, it shows that the Big Island is reviving back. The staff are an international group and well versed in customer service. The guests that stays here are pretty much a like-minded bunch."

"Great place and a great breakfast in the morning. Very talented people own this place and make you feel at home. The place is a bit of an art gallery with custom pieces, local art, and info. Kelly appears to put her heart into making her guests feel welcome, comfortable, and well fed if that is a part of your adventure. Plenty of parking for the amount of people that can stay there."
