Beautiful Riad, very friendly and helpful staff, but not everyone speaks English. Our room was nice and comfortable. Good stay
Beautiful Riad, the most attentive staff we’ve encountered traveling in Morocco! The haman and massage were the best I’ve had anywhere. I’d stay here again.
The riad is lovely. Very nice rooftop patio. Great breakfast. Great location within the medina.

Manager Latifa was wonderful. I stayed in a Mezzazine room overlooking the street. Rather noisy throughout the night, bathroom shower head kept dripping all night. Bathroom needs some renovation . Excellent breakfast
We enjoyed this Riad. The location was perfect and the rooms were spacious and very clean. The staff was friendly and provided a very nice breakfast in the morning. We adored Latifa, who shared so many tips with us. She gave great restaurant recommendations and helped us figure out how to navigate the souk without a guide. She also recommended and made reservations at a hammam for us, which we really enjoyed! There are so many great Riads to choose from, but the staff at this one is what took a good stay to great!
Had a lovely stay at the historical Riad Layla. Everything was perfect- the room was spacious, super clean, had high ceilings, tastefully decorated, lovely bedsheets, huge bathroom with his and hers sinks, and functional aircon. The staff were so kind and professional- Latifa and Mohamed at the reception were exceptional. They provided airport transfers and lots of good dining, shopping and sightseeing recommendations. Breakfast served on the terrace was authentic and plentiful with fresh daily moroccan bakes including gluten free options which we had requested before arrival :). The massage and moroccan hammam at the hotel are a must after a long day in medina! All in all, the Riad is lovely, well kept and very well managed. Just be mindful that noise travels easily around the riad which wasn't an issue for us.
Riad Layla was perfection! The staff was polite and so incredibly helpful. We had never said in/near a medina. They gave us a great map, restaurant recommendations, set us up with the best tour guides and drivers, and accommodated everything we needed. Our stay in Fez was an absolute success because of the wonderful people at Riad Layla. Excellent breakfast, gorgeous views from the roof, lovely rooms. Highly recommend to everyone.
The Riad itself was small, but wonderful, with kind and attentive staff. After a full day of navigating the narrow and busy streets of the Fes Medina, it was very nice to find rest in a large and beautifully designed room. Some finishings may need some upkeep, and just be aware that sound travels very well, even between rooms. The breakfast on the rooftop was plentiful and the view beautiful.
Thank you Riad Layla for being such a wonderful place to stay! If I could give this place 10 stars I would, I loved my stay at this Riad. Every single member of the staff I interacted with was just beyond nice and incredible. The room (Zaina) was a perfect rest and recovery after the Sahara. The hammam was incredible and I felt like a new person afterwards. I had two breakfasts and one dinner at the Riad - never disappointed, the food was so full of flavour.
The Riad is relatively easy to find and once you get a hang of some local landmarks (fountain, road access, etc.) it is very easy to navigate around. Safety and security is not an issue here.
If I ever return to Fes/Fez, there is no other place I would even think about staying at!
Riad Layla have everything: great service, convenient location, good breakfast. When arriving, my taxi called reception and they were waiting for me at the end point for vehicles which was great. The Riad is like 5 minutes walk from the meeting point of the majority of the tours. If you have an early tour, they will pack your breakfast to go which was a thoughtful detail. The Riad is beautiful and peaceful inside, with a great view of sunset and Medina from the rooftop. The only thing that I don’t recommend is the hammam which felt rushed and improvised, the music was literally from a cellphone speaker and the drink was a room temperature water bottle that I saw when they took it out from the storage. No privacy to make yourself comfortable before the hammam or when waiting for the massage. Also expensive compared to what other hammam experiences offer outside.
Outstanding everything. Mohammed and all staff were exceptionally helpful and kind. The Riad, to room, and breakfast were all super. We really enjoyed our stay!
Great service from the woman manager and the Royal Suite was truly beautiful. A little more lighting in the room would have been appreciated as it was quite dark.

Must stay here if you visit Fes
Incredibly warm and patient front reception service 24/7. Made us feel very welcomed.
Take cash for everything, taxi, dinner at the Riad or spa. We were told only about the taxi. It was somehow stressubut at the end we were able to pay with a card.
We loved our stay! Perfect location - in the medina area, but on a quiet street. Clean, modern but beautiful in style, amazing terrace to watch sunset or sunrise. Breakfast is terrific - yogurt, three types of pancakes and bread, eggs, etc. Host kindly met us to park the car because driving and then parking in Fes is overwhelming with “parking attendants” telling you to park in wrong areas. Super easy thanks to host. Would definitely stay again!
We had an awesome stay at the riad Layla. The dinner over Fes was beautiful and we were amazed by the comfortable room as this was our first stay at a riad. We would certainly stay here again.
