Hot tub gaming house.

"The house was very clean and very well stocked-we were surprised at the thoughtful touches. The host was excellent in their communication and went above and beyond for us. The check in and out process was seamless. The location was great for many activities-the Bonanza falls was a short hike and beautiful, Konteka was a fun place to eat and we saw a bear, many other nearby hikes-Lake of the Clouds, and close to a sandy Lake Superior beach. And then we came back to the most comfortable beds we've ever had in the UP, and the kids loved the game room and actually asked if we could skip hikes and just stay at the house for a whole day! 100% recommend this stay."

"The hotel itself is well kept and has beautiful views of Lake Superior. We loved our stay. Our favorite part was visiting the beach on the hotel property and looking thru the smooth rocks that the water tumbled. The only dislike was how expensive the restaurant was inside the hotel. The dining room could use updating. Good breakfast."

"We felt right at home in this house. The key pad was fussy when we first arrived, and VRBO's app did not help us reach the host...not her fault. Maybe the host could message her cell to future guests for emergencies. The house was adorable. Think cabin-y if you go...a bit of a musty smell and some uneven floors...but definitely a solid value with the well-stocked full kitchen, functional living room seating, and extremely comfortable small queen IKEA bed. Great use of space and extremely convenient to have a full washer/dryer available (even though we didn't need it much). In the summer, please know that there is one box AC unit servicing the whole house, so it may struggle to keep to temp on hot days...not the case during our stay when the inside temp hovered in the low 70s. Beyond that, the neighborhood is extremely quiet and is was fun to pick raspberries in the back yard. Grateful for this space and would stay again."

"Great place to stay that is right on the lake. The dog gates were a surprise feature that allowed us to enjoy the deck even more. We saw several amazing sunsets and walked down the lake to visit family. Great place!! P.s. House to the left.. just FYI"

"Ideal location for.our exploration of the western U.P.! All the creature comforts of home. Will be staying again when we need a quiet place to unwind. The hot tub is a nice end of day treat."

"We are coming to the end of our stay at Rainbow Lodgings and I am excited to share our experience at this gem of a property. Let’s start with the location. Positioned directly opposite the lake, the view from the property is incredible. It is in easy reach of all of the sights in the area including the porkies.The cabin is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. It is flawlessly decorated and maintained but what stood out to us, who have stayed in many cabins over the years, is the attention to the little things. These owners pride themselves on thinking of EVERYTHING. Fire pit was set up and ready to go, complete with kindling and paper to get the fire crackling away. Shampoo and shower gel dispensers that were filled on arrival. Solid WiFi access if you need to work from the cabin and extras of everything you might need.Cabin was meticulously clean and just as described. Brandi and Matt are wonderful hosts and we will be back for sure!"
