Excellent place to stay

Great little hotel in a beautiful quiet town, which is oozing with charm. Owners were lovely, room was great and it was a perfect place to stay the night during our ring road adventure.

The beauty of this stay is the location - Iceland’s largest fjord. It’s a quiet location among the beautiful mountains, very scenic. One small downside is that our room didn’t have blackout curtains for traveling during the latter part of May.

Quite basic but did the trick. Room seemed to have been bleached throughout but was def clean. Strange arrangement having to go elsewhere for breakfast but was good food and friebly staff

The place was very clean with hot water. It was a great pit stop on our road trip; close to the main road going in and out of the city, making it easy to pull on and off. There is no reception but called about an issue with the lock box and they were very helpful.

I am giving a 5 star review for easy check in and affordability. It is simple, but everything you need to spend a night. The place is clean and has a TV. The breakfast, which is included, is similar to those in other places where you pay $14-17, the only difference being the simple setting and cafe.

Room was ok - was provided extra towels and pillows but wasn’t anything fancy. Did provide breakfast at the hotel up the street for free which was also nice

It was just OK for a night stay. The desk in our room was falling apart, couch was worn down. Place was clean which is why we stayed. Had to travel to a different facility for breakfast. Improvements should definitely be made.

Good Stay

It was good. Nice and comfortable. The refrigerator didn't work, but they came and fixed the situation...literally immediately. Easy self-checkin. My only complaint was the party at the bar next door, where folks were carrying on very loudly until about 3 am. Not the hotel's fault...I don't think.

Absolutely nothing was open on a Friday evening for supper after a long day of hiking/driving. However, when you looked on line everything was open. We were one of 5 other people staying that couldn’t find any where to eat. After trying to call, no one was available.

Great spot!

Perfect hotel experience! Unique character with great ocation. Staff was warm and genuinely friendly. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Amazing breakfast and very good dinner options Will definitely return!

Clean room, and comfortable bed. The breakfast was a bit underwhelming: tang instead of orange juice, and processed cheese slices instead of real cheese. But it was a comfortable stay.
